naruto: the swordsman unchained

chapter 1: a new beginning

we could see a young six year old naruto as usual running from a mob although this was different this was the annual fox hunt so the mob was much bigger and much more persistent but naruto tried seeing what he hoped to be an escape route he turned a corner to find the opposite of what he'd hoped a dead end he gulped as he heard the villagers behind him and he knew he was about to die a very painful death

he prepared for the inevitable as the beating began although it would be more accurate to call it torture as naruto was cut beat, burned and even whipped when a ninja was about to cast the finishing blow on a barely conscious naruto who shut his eyes and waited for what was about to come instead what he heard was a burning raging fire he looked up to see an old man with a cane standing in front of him this old man looked pissed by this point naruto had passed out from blood loss

"i think you have had enough of your fun and should run along now children" the old man said

"who the hell are you old man" a random anbu asked enraged that this old man stopped them from killing the demon

"genryusai shigekuni yamamoto the boys new caretaker" yamamoto said as his closed eyes opened and he let loose his killing intent

"now i have already asked nicely once i will not do so a second time" genryusai said as he leaned against his cane

"damn old man" the anbu said as he and what remained of his compatriots that weren't burned alive charged at yamamoto what they saw shocked them the cane of which yamamoto was holding peeled apart turned into a katana which was quickly drawn as the anbu who kept talking was cut down

"anyone else" yamamoto asked he looked around as the other ANBU and shinobi who were participated began to back away in fear as they did so another of their compatriots was cut down to reveal a younger man wearing a black and sea-foam green checkered style haori

"old man i am a kind man however what they have done warrants punishment" the man said

"and who may you be" yamamoto asked

"someone with the same goal as you old man my name is tanjiro kamado" tanjiro said

"i see so you also were" he trailed off but tanjiro knew what he was talking about and nodded accordingly

"very well as to your previous statement i agree they should be punished however i do not wish for more bloodshed" yamamoto said

"your right i am just angry seeing what these people have done disgusts me" tanjiro said with clear disgust written all over his face

"i am well aware it does me as well" the old man said who was much better at hiding his emotions

"what's the meaning of this" another old man yelled this being hiruzen sarutobi the currant hokage

"and the hokage appears" yamamoto said as his group appeared around him and naruto and two individuals joined tanjiro

"we are the new caretakers to naruto uzukaze" yamamoto said as one of his people bent down and began administering healing kido to him

"i see and may i ask why, i have never seen your people before so i know you aren't from this village and i doubt no one outside the village knows about naruto that's what i have been trying to keep hidden so how did you learn about him" hiruzen asked

"the sealer has asked our aid" yamamoto said cryptically

"you mean" hiruzen asked

"not the boys father the true sealer" yamamoto said and hiruzen's eyes widened

"you don't mean" he asked and yamamoto nodded

"yes him he has been blessed with our abilities so we will take him and train him to be what he should be" yamamoto said

"you can't do that the demon must remain weak and leashed" danzo said yamamoto turned to him

"sui-feng" was all yamamoto said an instant later sui-feng returned carrying several dead bodies of danzo's ROOT danzo's eyes widened as he began to realize just how powerful these people are hiruzen seeing the ROOT members turned to danzo

"are those your ROOT which i specifically ordered you to disband" hiruzen asked

"now hiruzen i was simply protecting the village they were needed to keep us at our strongest" danzo said a second later he was stabbed through the chest by one of tanjiro's people who was smiling sweetly

"my blade is coated with poison so you will die very soon since there is no cure to my poison" she said with a very sickly sweet voice that sent shivers down everyone's spines as she pulled her blood from his back and swiped it clean of his blood before sheathing her blade and return to tanjiro's side

"we are the kuchiki and kamado clans and we will be adopting naruto as one of our own any objections" yamamoto said as he opened his eyes again showing that he would leave no room for objections which made those shivers get worse when no one said anything yamamoto's eyes closed as he smiled

"no objections, good" yamamoto said
