I finally managed to get the blood off of myself and my clothes after some heave scrubbing. I picked a new outfit before seeing how close we were.

I peaked in on Meliodas and Elizabeth finding them still in the same position I had left them. I went outside to get some fresh air and check on Diane. She looked incredibly worried as she pushed Mama forward. I floated to her shoulder after giving Mama a kiss on her snot and thanking her. She glanced down at me. "How is he?" she asked. I gave her a sad smile. "I think we stopped to bleeding but he is still out cold." She narrowed her eyes and stared forward. I patted her shoulder. Tring to comfort her somewhat. "He'll be alright. I just know it. Something like this wouldn't keep Mel down for long." She gave me a weak smile but kept her eyes forward. We didn't talk after that. After an hour or so, a town came into view and a large mushroom shape formed in the distance. "We finally made it." Diane exclaimed.

Once Mama was settled we brought out Meliodas carefully, but Diane scooped him up quickly and took off to the town. The rest of us were forced to follow in her wake the best we could. We finally caught up to her as the people of the town ran from her screaming in panic. "Lady Diane, please let us handle this!" she yelled up to her tentively. "The captain needs a doctor!" she snapped back as she looked down at us. "And how are you gonna find one if everyone runs away from you in fear!" Hawk sqwauked harshly. Diane's eyes widened then paled as she looked down at Meliodas cradled in her hands. I slapped Hawk on the backside hard making him squeal. He turned to say something to me but I glared at him and he stopped. Diane slowly sank to her knees on the ground. "Let us find a doctor alright? We be as quick as possible." Elizabeth softly reasured her and Diane simply nodded. Elizabeth and Hawk ran off to find the doctor and I floated up to Diane.

"Hey, don't take Hawk so seriously, ok? He has no filter and says whatever comes to his mind without thinking how it will affect someone else. He wasn't trying to hurt you." I said trying to comfort my new friend as I ran my hand through a bit of her hair. She smiled weakly at me before returning her focus back to Meliodas. "I'm used to it. Everyone has always looked at me in fear and ran or tried to kill me." Her comment made me sad. "I can't say I understand it all, but I understand being looked at in fear. My own parents looked at me with fear and distain when my powers bloomed. When Merlin offered to take me with her... they basically shoved me out the door and didn't look back." She looked to me and the understanding there shined in her eyes. She suddenly pulled me closer to her cheek and snuggled to me. I patted her cheek affectionately before we pulled back and I settled on her shoulder. "We could always roast him if you want." My comment made us laugh a bit together. "Thanks Y/n. You're not so bad, for a human." I winked at her. "I'll take that as a complement." We were quiet after that until Elizabeth and Hawk ran up with a doctor in tow.

Doctor Dana continued to evaluate Meliodas as me and Diane looked on through the window. Unwrapping our work and cleaning the wound more thoroughly and wrapping him again before giving him some medication. Diane's hand grabbed me and I gasped in surprise as she set me on the ground softly. I looked back at her inquisitively as she began to back away. Her face hard in determination. "I'll go ahead to Baste Prison. You all stay here." Elizabeth and Hawk came running out and we followed behind her. "I'm going with you Lady Diane!" Elizabeth exclaimed. Diane turned. "I don't need you under foot. Just stay by the captain's side and be his nurse maid." She turned around and continued on her way. ELizabeth watchedd her leave with a worried face. "Don't worry, she is a sin. She can handle herself." She went to speak but was cut off by a loud buzzing noise. A dark cloudlike formation began to cover the town. We soon realized that it was a massive swarm of insects. We took cover as the swarm decended and Diane ducked into the fetal position. "Bugs are the one thing I can't stand!" My eyes scouted the town and all the insects as little droplets of liquid began to ran down. Each time a droplet touch a surface it began to sizzle as it was melting whatever suface it lay on. I placed a wind barrier over Diane's head to protect her from the acid substance. After a few more moments, I heard Diane mumble something under her breathe before slamming her fist to the ground. Instantly, towers of stone shot from the earth all throughout the town and it fell quiet. She had taken out the swarm in one swift move and I stared at her in awe as she shivered a bit.

She took a look around before her eyes settled on us a moment. She turned and rushed off. "Stay here and take care of the captain!" she shouted without letting us respond. "Wait Lady Diane!" Elizabeth took a step to go after her but i stopped her and she looked to me with worry. "It'll be ok. You go back to Mel and stay with him. I'll go after her." She nodded. I nodded to them before taking off to catch up with Diane. When I reached the edge of town, Diane was nowhere in sight. A shot up into the air several feet and look out for several moments in hopes of catching a glimpse of her figure with no luck. So, I began to make my way to Baste Prison. After a while of flying, I crested a hill and finally saw her and I smiled, but it soon fell. I quickly stop on a treetop to hide myself from the knight in front of Diane. Something was strange about Diane. She wasn't moving at all. She was stock still in front of the Knight in full armor, odd mask, and staff. I watched them carefully for several minutes as they both just stood there in silence.

Eventually, another knight in full red armor that reminded me of a bug joined him and they began to speak. I couldn't hear them and i couldn't risk getting any closer to them to hear. There energy may not feel as power as Diane or Meliodas but I knew that they were too much for me to handle on my own. Especially, two at the same time. I would just have to wait for an opening or for at least one to leave so I could help Diane. The knight in the mask must have done something to her. She wasn't squirming or even saying a word so it had to be something dealing with the mind. I was trying to think out a strategy when a chime of a bell began to ring. It began to reverberate through my mind until it was all I could hear. When it finally cleared, I stood in front of Meliodas and Elizabeth beside Diane. Hawk was pawing at my leg. "Y/n, what happened? Why are you and Diane just standing here?" I looked around to find us closer to the town then we were before and it confused the hell out of me. "I'm not entirely sure. I had just caught up with Diane and she was with some holy knights." Diane leaned down. " Huh, I haven't seen anyone since I left town, but everything is a bit fuzzy." She said as she played nervous with her hair. She looked over at Meliodas and I followed her stare. "Captain, your up. I'm so glad your ok." She exclaimed happily. "Yep all good now." Meliodas smiled with a thumbs up.

I sighed a bit in relief. "Something weird is going on here. The last thing I remember is hearing a bell and then I was here." I explained. I felt a surge of energy and then Diane's body went rigid. "There's a holy knight here!" She said as she got in a fighting stance then looked around. "Huh? Hey. where did everyone go?" I stepped away from her a bit. " Diane, we are here!" Her face grew angry as she looked down at Meliodas and she raised her leg. "Give the captain back!" She exclaimed before kicking Meliodas several yards away. We scrambled too his side as Diane slowly approached us. Meliodas quickly got up and I turned to look to Diane. My eyes widened as I saw her blank stare. "Her eyes..." I started. They looked hollow almost as if no life reflected in them. "She can't see us." Meliodas added. "So what do we do now?" Hawk asked. Meliodas grabbed Elizabeth and turned. "We run for starters!" Meliodas said as he began to high tail it away. Me and Hawk trailed behind him as Diane began to chase after us. Dodging her attacks as we went.

Suddenly, a man and young boy crossed our path. "Hey, if you don't want to die, you better run!" Meliodas yelled and they both turned. They both froze in fear as they look to us and I cursed under my breath. I threw vines up to try and by us some time to get them to safety. Meliodas scooped up the boy and the man started running with us just as Diane's ankles hit my thick vine rope. Tripping her up and causing her to fall to her hands and knees. We quickly hide ourselves and flattened ourselves against the earth. I heard her grunt and get to her feet as Meliodas peeked over the ridge. "You guys stay hidden and I'll be back." He jumped over the ridge. I looked over at the others. The boy was crying in Elizabeth's arms as he mumbled about not wanting to die. A surge of energy filled the air and the distant soft sound of a bell caught my attention. I looked to the staff that the boy was holding and my eyes widened. It look like the staff that the holy knight had been holding earlier. The boy turned his head to look at me and smirked before the bell rang much louder this time. It reveberated through my mind again. 'Shit, Not again!'
