Chapter 3: Sister Krone

{3RD PERSON POV}

After finding out that mom got another adult to help her, the eight of them got nervous thinking that Sister Krone will stop them from escaping "What information did you guys find today? Its all normal on my report, I kept an eye for anything useful outside while you guys check the inside" (Y/N) said. The three of them sneaked into the library at nighttime again to discuss their next move, but Qiqi, Klee and Diona were not allowed to join them since it'll be suspicious "Mom gave Sister Krone a room next to ours, that'll mean she can keep a close eye on us all the time. I was distracted with the tracking devices that I didn't think we would get another adult" Norman explained.

"Actually we should be happy" Ray simply said "What? Be happy?" Emma tilted her head "Carol and Sister Krone, we have two more sources of information. First, where did they come from?" Ray questioned "Carol is Conny's replacement.. So I guess they must have a place where they prepare one year olds, but that also means there are more farms out there, and  there will be more adults controlling it.." (Y/N) mumbled out loud "Wait! If Carol is Conny's replacement, why is Qiqi, Klee, Diona and (Y/N) here?" Emma pointed out, making (Y/N) flinch "That's true... (Y/N) do you remember anything before you came here?" Ray asked her in suspicion "I-I Don't remember! All I remember is I was doing my regular things until I passed out and ended up here!" (Y/N) lied "That means they're planning to ship out more kids! But first we have to figure out how to escape with everyone. And the location of your tracking device"

"I searched all over my body, but I found no signs of something implanted" Emma pointed out "And nothing on our clothes or shoes either" Norman added "Based on human kind technology, it probably uses radio waves. But that requires batteries, something so small that wouldn't leave a scar, and with batteries that last over 10 years. That kind of product wouldn't exist in 2015" Ray explained "Meaning?"

"It'll be difficult to predict the mechanism, find the location, and figure out how to break it. And we might as well give up if its technology originating from the demons" Ray continued "True.."  "What?! So its checkmate?"   'Oh Archons please help us..'  "Well if we can't figure it out, we can guess" Norman said "Yeah, we have to think from the enemy's point of view. Where and what kind of device would be the most convenient to implant" after Ray said that, the room became quiet until Norman and (Y/N) got a sudden realization "Carol!"

"Since she just arrived she might have one"  -Ray

"A mark from implanting the tracking device!" -Emma

[MEANWHILE WITH ISABELLA AND SISTER KRONE]

"I am honored to work for someone I admire so much" Sister Krone said "Lip service isn't necessary. Let's quit some small talk, and talk about work instead. Here are the documents of my adorable children. Recently I got 4 new children. Memorize them all now." Isabella ordered Krone as she starts to memorize them all one by one "Anyways, what work was I called in for?" Krone said while she's still memorizing the children "They found out about the secret. They also saw the package in the truck"

"T-then, according to the rules, we must find them and ship them out immediately-"  "Wait." Isabella stopped Krone from reporting "Don't worry, figure out who they are"  "And that?"    "Three of the oldest children. We must make sure they don't escape before shipment. My children are special. And this is beneficial for the plant" Isabella glared at Krone "So your not reporting it?" she asks "No, I will take care of the matter in a proper manner. You are a guard, you don't need to think. Just watch the children. I am the Mom of this house, you are my assistant. Understand Sister Krone?" Isabella smiled "Yes, ma'am"

[AT THE KITCHEN]

Norman and Ray was told to clean the dishes today and the took that chance to plan their next move "The kids like her.." Norman said to the black haired boy "Yeah, how do we outmaneuver the two adults who are liked so much?" Ray questioned "Exactly, the biggest concern is the report to the demon. As soon as we escape, the monster will come after us. I think we also should be happy since (Y/N) told Qiqi, Klee and Diona. Thanks to that, the adults wont suspect the three of them while they're secretly helping us" said Norman "Yeah, and also the only way to prevent the demons from chasing us are..... Diona showed us today that she could make bow and arrows, with that we can--"
