Colorado

I held Colorado's leadrope dumbfounded. What was I supposed to do know? Ride him? I walked him back to his stall and started to groom him. He wasn't that hard to groom but he kept moving. The rest of the horses in the barn were for the older girls and there was only like 4 more horses. Not many girls here did dressage.

Every horses stall said their name so the other 4 horses were: Dynasty, Clover, Picasso, and June. I found Colorado's tack. It was a black dressage saddle and bridle. Colorado was around 16. 3 hands. After I groomed him, I put him in the field and left.

At dinner I sat down next to Dana. "Alexis I got a georgeous white mare for cross country her name is Snow-Bird but everyone calls her Snowy, who did you get"? "I got a 16.3 Morgan gelding named Colorado he is 4 years old", I replied while chewing my salad. 

Elizabeth and Jane sat across from us. "I got a bay gelderlander named Autumn, she is a mare", Jane announced "she is super cute". "And I got a roan Quarter Horse named Pluto", Elizabeth sighed. "He is 9 years old and super sweet. Me and Dana told them about our horses.

When we went back to our dorm I noticed a letter on my desk and I opened it.

Dear Alexis,

I heard you got into dressage congrats you are one of the few girls here at Oak-Ridge who does dressage. Also I heard you got our newest horse Colorado. 

I am just saying have fun and good luck

So Colorado was the newest horse around here. I changed into my black tanktop and sweats and crawled into bed.

At Oak-Ridge you take your classes online but if you start getting bad grades then you really have to take the class. The teachers post videos for the learning. Since I was really smart I got everything done in a breeze.
