Hello. I am Catherine Dubs, a normal sixteen-year old at Tenmall Academy. To be honest, life bores me here. The only interests I have in this world are unnatural beings and the abandoned house a few houses down from where I live. “I am going to do it. I am going to that house to see whether it is haunted or not.” I said, talking to my friend Laura. “No!” she replied, “Do you not know that this is an abandoned, possibly haunted house we are talking about!? There is a chance that you will not even come back!” Laura has complained about me going to the house for three years and always managed to stop me, but this time, she will not be able to keep me from going this once. “Fine by me,” I told her, “It is not like I have much to do with life anyway…” Laura sat silent for a while, then replied, “Fine! But if you don’t come back by tomorrow I will call the search and rescue team to find you.” I smiled. “Thanks Laura! If my parents ask where I am, tell them I went to your house for a bit. Bye!”
