After that encounter with Ben, Toby let him come over more. I learned that he's very good with electronics, and enjoys video games quite a lot. He's teaching me how to play COD: WAW, and I'm not really getting the hand of it. Neither is Toby, he got so mad at one point, he threw his controller into the wall and it stuck there. I now have a massive as fuck hole in my wall, great. 'It doesn't matter, you like him, do you really care about a stupid hole?' Of course I don't, and I know it.
"Hey [Y/N], want to play this new game I got? It's for the Nintendo 64, it's supposed to be haunted." Ben slumped down beside me on the sofa, upside down holding up a black game cartilage, it looking damaged.
"Will it even work Ben? It looks broken." I looked at him and he nodded, slinking off of the couch, and slamming it into the console with brute force. 'Where did that shrimp get the strength to break my fucking console in half?' We got to the loading screen, and Ben handed me the controller. The game was barren except for a file saved under 'Ben', so I started up a new game. We got to the second day of the game and I got up to get something to drink, leaving Ben to the game.
Walking into the kitchen, I saw Toby rumaging through the fridge. "Hey man, I haven't seen you all day, where you been?" I nonchalantly ask as he looks around for me. "Sleeping, I'm tired [Y/N]." I nodded, and went over, grabbing the can of pop from his hands. "Thanks, hey me and Ben are playing this new video game he brought over. You should come and chill for a little bit." He looked at me and sighed, nodding. "Let me make a sandwich and I'll be right in." I smiled and walked back into the living area, sitting next to the blonde.
We played for another ten minutes, Ben getting obviously more quiet, Toby walks in. "Hey, I'm sorry I took so long, I decided to make like thr-." I looked back at him and gasped, his eyes were wide, and he looked pissed. Not grocery store, there's a fat lady in front of me pissed, Like, I want to eat your firstborn kinda pissed. I turned back around and ignored it, he can be moody. I look over at Ben and he hands me the controller, a smile on his lips.
I look back once more to see no Toby. Shrugging I turn back , only to see him peeling the cartilage out of my system. "Dude! You just fried my Nin. 64!" I run over to him, me being considerably shorter than him, punching him in the stomach. "[Y/N]! This game is dangerous!" I looked at him and giggled. "Toby that's just a rumour, Majora's Mask isn't haunted." I sighed and looked back at Ben, the same smirk playing on his mouth. "BEN!" He launched at him, tossing the cartilage aside, and gripping the front of the blonde's shirt with his fists. "This was your plan, wasn't it? To tell her about us? How could you?" I tilted my head in confusion, staying silent.
"I wasn't going to tell her about us," Ben looked over at me. "I was going to kill her! And you ruined it! Are you going soft on these humans?" He pushed on Toby's chest, making him fall backwards and onto the floor. "I was a human once, Ben. I'll always be soft on them."
