Today was the day of the Lahiffe family reunion excitement filled everywhere the smell of fresh bake pie, people cleaning the horses and preparing for the event by setting up different stands such as the horse shoe throwing area (idk what you call it) and Marinette waking up on top of the barn. Why you ask because she stayed up all night painting it and may or may not have slept in there but luckily the rooster woke her but she did not come down since she was enjoying the view of the sunset 🌅. This past week she and Adrien really bonded Marinette she denied her feelings for Adrien that was hidden deep inside since she just told her self "shut up your thinking nonsense you love 💕 your kitty 🐱 and he loves you too"
Marinette decided to have a little fun and do what she has been doing the past week just to annoy Alya and Adrien. So she took her trumpet went to the connected rooms unlocked the door and played a sound on the trumpet waking everyone up (you know the one you here in movies) Nino and Alix got up smiling and happy since they grew up like this while Adrien and Alya well not so good they were half a sleep when they woke up and Adrien commented practically sleep talking "I will never get used to this" Alya agreed saying "I don't get how you people do this everyday without the internet that too sadly you do not have a snooze button" the three just laughed and Alix commented "You do you usually wait for the person playing the trumpet 🎺 to run out of breath" Marinette just said "we have to get ready today is the reunion" and with that they all got ready.

Once everyone was dressed Adrien and Alya noticed that the three of the siblings were matching and when the looked outside the saw everyone dressed similar to them Adrien just shrugged but the reporter side of Alya took over which made her ask "How come you all are dressed as cow boys or cow girls" Marinette just replied "well we all originate from Tennessee dressing like this is sort of traditional you could say" Alya understood but still curiosity made her ask "but why are you and Alix matching except for you top" "It is a sister thing we do every year yet not one year I get to choose the outfit because of somebody" Alix commented while glaring at Marinette "hey it is not my fault you have bad taste in fashion" was all Marinette said. "ok you 2 stop fighting lets go to the barn I need the internet" Alya said frustrated everyone just laughed and went down to the barn and there they saw everyone having fun and enjoying themselves they were walking when Adrien noticed and asked "Hey Mari are you not coming" Marinette just simply said "ya'll go ahead without me I have to make my traditional entrance". When they all went Marinette well she had to sing the family song while entering which was called "The Lahiffe hoedown showdown" which she did video below.
(BTW Marinette is doing the dance the whole time except every family member starts from the first "Pop it lock it polka dot it countrify and hip hop it and they only did it till 2:57 rest is for you if you want to learn)
"Alright ill be taking only one request" shouted Marinette to the mic and with that her dad James replied "how 'bout you take my horse to the old town road" and Marinette being Marinette said "how 'bout you do it yourself" and with that she tossed the mic to him "I do not mine"
Meanwhile with Nino, Alix, Alya, and Adrien. "What is going on" Adrien questioned Alya followed and said "I am confused" so Nino took the lead and answered their question "so basically every year Marinette sings the traditional family song the 'Lafiffe Hoedown Showdown' and the old town road thing is another family song called 'old town road' and they are just joking around so no dad is going to sing it in 3..2..1" with that the music and singing has started
With that the family burst into cheers and when Marinette went back to her 4 friends and Alya immediately commented "Are we at your family reunion or at a party fo celebrities I mean there are famous bull rider, horse riders, horse shoe tossing chapions, singer and chefs mamma mia i need an interview with all of them for all my blogs"
Soon the activities started which were cooking competitions, horse racing, bull riding, horse shoe throwing and more you could say the Lahiffe family had a blast
