Few statements
[M] = Mature reading, AKA a warning for chapters with a bit of *smut*.
[TW] = Trigger Warning, if a chapter has slurs etc.
[EDITED] = For chapters that have been revised and spellchecked hehe.
[TRANSLATIONS] = Will be in the comment sections, however, if you want to comment on these paragraphs, please do it by replying to my initial comment...that way people can still read the translation notes :)
This is a BOYXBOY - if you don't like it, don't bloody well read it.
Also, don't worry, the book isn't going to only be about sex...I'm not into porn without a plot, so don't stress my sweets, the book will not be entirely made up of filth. I just like writing it. So.
Ah, finally - there will be some scenes where Chinese, specifically Shanghainese/ Mandarin/ 普通话, will be spoken. I will write these scenes with Pinyin, and will provide translations at the end of the chapter. [Chinese is my second language, so if anyone spots errors please let me know! Constructive criticism is very much welcome!]
On that note, I also am not Chinese myself...and reading books/interviews and talking to my Chinese friends only gives so much knowledge about customs and cultural differences. SO, if anyone finds an inconsistency or notices something about Max and the Huang's that is out of place or inaccurate, please let me know! I would feel awful if I messed anything up.
There will be a lot of swearing and mature references, which is just how I want to tell this story...no pressure on y'all to read or vibe with it if you aren't into that kind of writing style!
Anddd finally! The characters opinion's in this book are not necessarily my own, this is so that I can show character progression as the story develops.
Other than that...enjoy!
