Me: so you knew Yoongi in law school, why have you never visited before?

Jin: My job was really demanding. And I had a girlfriend a few years back that took up all of my extra time. Yoongi was also in a relationship and it just never got brough up for visiting.

Me: how did you meet?

Jin: We were roommates actually

Me: convenient for your shared interests lol

Jin: lol true

Me: What made you move?

Jin: Wasn't happy at my job. I was tired of trying to defend criminals. I got a reputation for settling, and wanted to do something better with my skill and knowledge.

Me: is that why you now work on the investigative team for the DA?

Jin: exactly. The work is much more satisfying because we are putting the bad guys away, not defending them.

Me: good guy through and through aren't you? Lol

Jin: I'd like to think so lol
Jin: I was actually going to stick my neck out and ask you something.

Me: You can ask me

Jin: I don't know if you have anything planned tonight, but I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?

Me: That sounds like fun! What did you have in mind?

Jin: Nothing specific just hang out. You can come to my hotel room if you wanted to. I still haven't found a house yet.

Me: Or you could come here

Jin: ....are you sure? I don't want to invite myself over

Me: You're not! I want to hang out too, and I have food here if we get hungry and I have a big comfy couch.

Jin: Alright I like that idea better too. Should I bring anything?

Me: Just you 😊

Jin: Alright, well then what time would work well for you?

Me: Anytime. I have no plans so I'm being pretty boring.

Jin: what are you doing?

Me: Laying on my comfy couch. I did shower this morning though, so I'm not totally lazy and gross

Jin: hahahahaha well I will shower myself then and text you when I head over. Is that okay?

Me: absolutely 😊

Jin: alright, I'll see you soon.

It had been 2 weeks since Taehyung's birthday party, and Jin and I texted almost every day. Even during our work hours, we would sneak a reply every now and then, and then text all night until we fell asleep.

I felt like a child with a crush, and I've barely been around the guy. Though we talked every day, this would be the first time that we hang out alone.

I have to call Yoongi.

I pressed his contact icon and placed it on speaker, letting my phone sit on my lap as I sat up straight.

"Yo."

"Jin is coming over." I said, hurriedly.

"Is that bad?"

"No, but what if he hangs out with me in person and realizes how weird I am?"

"He probably already knows how weird you are, Nova."
