Tide collapsed in a field full of flowers, some short distance from the mountain and hidden by tall trees. They spread out on their back, letting the sun soak into each scale. They took deep breaths, allowing for the trapped feeling to dissipate slowly, replaced by a warm fuzzy calm. They soon fell asleep amidst the dandelions.

Tide had no idea how much time had passed when they woke up, but they suspected it hadn't been long. They began the walk back to the art cave with a sigh. What must they think of me... running away like that, at random... I'd better come up with an excuse, or something.

Tide tumbled back into the cave. "Hi, I'm back!! Did you miss me? Just kidding, I know you did. How's the scavenger?"

The Mudwing and the scavenger didn't even notice Tide, they just continued their conversation, so Tide went and sat quietly next to Terra.

Terra held up his drawing and showed it to Bonsai and Tide. "Here how does it look?!" He said with a smile.

Tide was about to say how great it was- it truly was wonderful- when they heard a weird shuffling, scraping step outside. They turned their head to the cave entrance.

Terra looked at Tide. "Oh? Is someone else coming?"

"I don't know... I heard... a weird shuffling noise..."

A dark-coloured Skywing poked her head around the door. Tide had a bit of a moment- an moons-above-she's-gorgeous moment- before calling out to welcome her. "Oh! Hi!"

Terra hid his art behind his back and blushed. "Hi..." He said, in the same shy tone as when Tide had met him.

"Hello!... I hope I'm not disturbing anything..." The Skywing said.

Tide heard Bonsai moving a little behind him and wondered if the scavenger was afraid. "No, I don't think so. What's your name? I'm Tide, I'm a Seawing. This is Terra, and the scavenger is Bonsai."

Tide then heard Terra whispering to Bonsai, but didn't catch the words.

"My name's Topaz... mind if I come in?"

This dragon wanted to meet them? Unusual... she looked like the kind of dragon to have friends and hopefuls lined up around the block. "No, not at all."

Topaz came in through the door. She was walking weird, and Tide was wondering if she had a limp, when they saw that her wings were melded into her front legs.

"Oh woah! Your wings are connected to your legs! That's so cool! Why is that? Is it hard to walk and do stuff? That's a dumb question, you're probably used to it. That's so cool." Tide realised that she'd probably think all their questions were rude, and hid their face.

"Oh are you a... what are they called again... ehhh.... a wyvern I think... ummm maybe. Or it's just a deformation who knows anyway you looks really cool!"

"T... Thank you.... Most dragons I meet are repulsed by it." She waddle-stamped to sit in front of the two.

"I've never seen an actual wyvern before! I've only read about them in books! It's very interesting and why would people ever find it repulsive?" Terra said, picking up Bonsai.

"It's like walking on your knees or wings or something... I don't recommend trying it."

Immediately, Tide wanted to try it. But they decided not to. "Woah. That is amazing. Why did that happen? Is it like a mutation or something?"

"That's rude." Bonsai commented.

"Oh. Is it? I'm so sorry." Tide said, covering their head with their wings to hide their embarrassment.

"No they're alright...I'm used to it." Topaz nodded slightly.

"Topaz, is it hard for you to fly?"

"No actually.... it's so much easier, except landing......"

Terra rolls up his art scroll and puts it in his bag. With that he stands and walks to the entrance of the art cave. He picks up Bonsai and puts the scavenger in his bag, with the scroll.

"Wait, Terra, where are you going?" Tide said.

"Going outside for some fresh air. Feeling a bit crowded and kinda nervous from drawing heh. It's not y'all it just happens." He replied from the cave entrance.

"Do you want us to come?"

"If you want to, I'm not forcing anyone."

"Okay, I'll come." They had a slight bad feeling about letting the Mudwing go alone. "I want to fly, anyway."

"I know I just met you guys... but can I come?" Topaz asked hesitantly.

"Sure, why not. The more the merrier." Tide said. Out of the corner of their eye, they though one of the shadows moved... but when they turned to look, there was nothing there.

Terra panicked, and ran out of the cave. Tide blinked in confusion, but followed all the same, and heard Topaz following behind them.
