I haven't been posting lately cuz of the amount of stress with my new school. I'm really sorry, I'm not gonna be abandoning this book tho so...yaaay.

Dahlia was sitting on her bed with Violet who was reading a book. It's only been a few months since they became memory dolls, and for Dahlia she enjoyed the peaceful times when she could think back to her tragic past.
But only she thought about herself, she was thinking of Violet.
"Violet, is it just you and me in the wreckage of the world..." The strawberry blonde looked up at the older girl.
"Lieutenant?"
She looked sick, had dark circles under her eyes and was paler than usual. The life in her emerald eyes were gone, they were dull and lifeless... like a doll.
"That must be so confusing for a little girl." Violet's mouth was slightly open, she was confused and rather unsettled by the fact that this came out of no where.
The rain splashes on the roof top, the sound of pattering was calming yet to the two of them it was a distraction. The one lit candle illuminated their faces, their bone structures were well defined but Dahlia’s cheeks were sunken and the fat of her body was no where to be found.
"And I know you're gonna need me here with you, but I'm losing myself, and I'm afraid you're gonna lose me too."
Her head drops down and let out a deep sigh, she couldn't be more ashamed to her losing her memory and especially losing Violet and Gilbert.
"Please forgive me for whatever I do, when I don't remember you"
"Lieutenant, why would you forget me?" The young girl tilted her head in confusion. Her words contradicted to what she said before, she'll never leave her.
The next thing you know, Dahlia was sent to the hospital, same spot, same place. Violet was staring at her instead of the pages on her book, even though she looked sickly, her beauty was inevitable.
If you said otherwise, Violet would never believe her beauty was gone, it was never a question in the first place.
Her once soft smiling face was replaced with somber look, a longing face.
