Chapter 3
"Lexi is that you?" My mom called when I walked inside.
"Yeah mum! Just going to my room!" I called back, trying hard to disguise the crying in my voice.
"Okay honey!" She said.
I went up to my room and laid down on my bed. I had no one to talk to anymore. My best friend ditched me. She was the only one I had ever told my feelings to. She knew everything about me. Absolutely everything.
My phone started ringing and I groaned. BradfordBoi. Who In the bloody hell was that? I smacked my head feeling like an idiot when I realized it was Zayn.
"Hello?"
"Is this Lexi?" Someone asked.
"Louis, give me back my bloody phone!" I heard Zayn shout in the background. I giggled slightly, forgetting about Jenny.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Good, cause Zayn has a crush on you!" He shouted.
"Yeah right Louis. But thanks for brightening up my day!" I said.
"No he reaaalllllyyyyy does!" He exclaimed.
Zayns POV.
"Louis give me back my bloody phone!" I shouted. I had made the mistake of telling Louis about Lexi.
I banged on his bedroom door, but then I heard Lexi laugh.
"Yeah." She said.
"Good cause Zayn has a crush on you!" Louis shouted. Boy was I going to kill him.
"Yeah right Louis. But thanks for brightening up my day!" She said. She was having a bad day? But just an hour ago she was perfectly fine.
"No he reaaalllllyyyyy does!" He exclaimed.
"Louis please give me back my phone." I shouted. the door opened to reveal a grinning Louis.
"All you had to say was please."
I took my phone and put it off speaker.
"Hey, are you okay Lexi?" I asked.
"No." She admitted.
"What's wrong?"
"My best friend told me that we can't hang out anymore because I'm awkward, weird and bring down her popularity." She laughed bitterly.
"I'm sorry." I said, not knowing what else to say.
"It's okay. I just feel like I have no one to trust anymore." She mumbled.
"Lexi, mind if I come over?" I asked.
"Umm, no I don't mind." She said. I smiled.
"Okay, I'll be right over."
