Rain. That's all Louis hears on the window panes of his room. He can't say he hates it though, it is one of his favorite sounds to read to. Yes, Louis was a reader. In fact he had the most gorgeous library to choose from. He could read his entire life and never finish all of them. With the smell of vanilla oak, and the warmth of the fireplace in the middle of his bedroom, he could continuously read for hours.

That is if his little sisters would give him a little peace of mind.

Louis' sisters names are Charlotte (goes by Lottie), Felicite (goes by Fizzy), Phoebe, and Daisy. Not to mention his mother was expecting twins. Louis as the oldest always has to set an example. Do the right thing, say the right thing, and have polite manners. That's what it's like as royalty. The girls are all well mannered in the public eye but when it comes to in the castle they-

"LOTTIE GIVE IT BACK!"

"NEVER! IT'S MINE NOW!" Lottie shouts as she runs around the halls which Louis can hear through his walls.

Louis stands up with a stretch of his back and heads towards the door. Like he said before, he's got to keep them in line.

"Now, now, Lottie, slow down you might trip on your dress," Louis says stopping Lottie in her tracks, "What are you holding?"

"She's holding my special hairbrush!" Fizzy exclaims.

Louis grabs the brush from Lotties hands with a bit of a struggle. He'll give her some credit, she's strong for her age. He inspects the gold designs on the back of the brush and traces it with his finger.

"You girls can continue playing but don't break anything," he says after handing back his sisters hairbrush. Who ever said he was good at being stern with them.

The girls run off giggling and Louis smiles fondly. He loves them dearly. He could never imagine being separated from them.

"Did you take care of that?" Louis mother speaks as she enters the room.

"I always do," He stated as he embraces his mother in a hug.

"They're just like you were as a kid, if not worse."

Louis smiles to himself remembering the days when he was endlessly reckless. Running through the forest in his light blue rain boots, with his hair sticking to his forehead. The heavy breeze making him lose his balance and fall on his bum. His mother would come running, kiss his head, and carry him home. She was his best friend forever and always.

Who's to say that Louis still isn't reckless. He still has grand old times sword fighting with his best friends Zayn and Niall. He's known them ever since he was born. Their families were close with ours which meant they were around each other all the time.
They did everything together.

All in all, Louis was content with how his life was going. He had the best family and the best friends anyone could ever ask for. That is until a curly headed prince and his family come around to talk about marriage arrangements with his sister.
