On Marinette's way out of the Agreste house, she walked down the sidewalk, a cool breeze hit her neck and she shivered.
*ring*
Marinette looked down at her phone and saw a text from Adrien that said, "You bring fresh cookies to school tomorrow and I will bring you a surprise :)"
Marinette giggled and put her phone away.
*HMPH*
Marinette fell onto her butt and opened her eyes to see Felix, leaning over her, He was tall. way tall.
Marinette scoffed and said, "Just my luck.."
"Watch where you're going," Felix said as he looked down at Marinette.
Marinette rolled her eyes and then noticed Felix's hand was out.
"I'm surprised, you seem too selfish to do that" Marinette said while staring at his hand.
Felix scoffed and moved his hand back."I just have manners."
Marinette got up from the ground and looked up at him. "I know your little game buddy. Don't you dare try to replace Adrien" She said.
Felix shot a confused look and slightly rolled his eyes. He turned around and walked inside the Agreste mansion.
---The next day---
Marinette wore black tight jeans and a simple white crop tee along with a puffy brown sweater. She walked in and sat next to Alya. Marinette saw Adrien who was sitting across the room and waved. He waved back and kept on pouring chemicals.
"Class today we are going to start working on unit 5, Everyone once I put you into partners start working. Alix with Adrien, Kim with max, Alyla with Nino, Felix with Marinette and rose with Juluka."
Marinette slapped her face with her hands and groaned.
"what's wrong girl?" Ayla asked while picking up her supplies.
Marinette looked at Alya and said, "you're kidding me right? I have to work with Felix, the rude, selfish, self-absorbed Felix."
Ayla looked around the room and leaned in closer. "Give him a try, both his parents died this year that's why he is living with Adrien. He also doesn't even want to replace Adrien he just wants to be able to make friends. you have to find his soft side." Alyla whispered.
Marinette felt instantly bad for all the things she said and thought. "oh..How do you know all this?"
Alyla smirked and said, "Please, I'm the owner of the lady blog. I can find out anything."
"expect for ladybugs identity!" Marinette added. Both of the girls laughed.
The teacher interrupted and said "class is almost over! work on the weekend with your partners on unit 5! have a nice weekend."
the class groaned with annoyance and packed up their things.
a little after school ended Marinette parted separate ways with Adrien and walked home.
