That was true, Nathalie was always taking care of Adrien and since Marinette was over 24/7, Nathalie was like her second mother.
Ladybug felt Nathalie's hand touch her face, it was warm and inviting. "Just give me your miraculous and I will fix everything"
Ladybug rubbed her earring back and forth and looked down at her feet.
Nathalie offered a warm smile at her.
Ladybug stepped closer towards Nathalie when a black familiar cat showed up.
"Ahh, Nathalie! How nice of you to offer all those things! But I got her" Chat noir said with a big grin on his face.
Nathalie, Hawkmoth, and chat noir all knew that Marinette was in a mental state that wasn't the best since she was stressed with everything going on, she was very vulnerable.
Nathalie rolled her eyes at the blonde superhero and then put on a fake smile for ladybug.
Ladybug stared at both of them, not knowing what to do.
Chat noir stared at Nathalie when she started to run towards Ladybug.
Chat noir grabbed Ladybug bridal style and took off.
About ten minutes later Chat noir and Ladybug were sitting in their secret safe spot, aka an abandoned house that was the size of a closet, covered In dirt, little to no light and it was underground.
"I-I don't know what I was doing. Im just, I don't know I just feel....off" Marinette said as she sat on the counter in the dark.
Chat noir continued to wrap Marinette's chest in a bandage as he took out the glass shards. "It could be the fact that your classmates chased you, you have glass shards in your chest and were waiting for the biggest fight of our lives to happen"
Marinette tilted her head and looked at Chat noir. "Were you surprised when you found out that I was Marinette?"
"To be honest princess...I already knew who you were" Chat noir said nervous for a response.
Marinette looked up at chat noir and put her hands on his face. "And you didn't tell me?!?!"
Marinette quickly realized what she was doing and put her hands back from his face. "Sorry" "it's okay"
Finally chat noir did the best he could do in terms of getting all the glass out of her skin. "That was pretty brave of you to swing through glass just to protect your boyfriend"
Marinette jumped off the counter and said, "Felix? My boyfriend? No, he isn't my boyfriend."
Although they never made it official chat noir's heart broke a little. "Then what is he to you?"
"I-i don't know. It's confusing you know? I think I love him but I'm, not the type of girl to fall In love that fast especially with two different boys-"
Chat noir looked up at Marinette, wide-eyed and curious as a cat. "Two different boys? Who is the other boy?"
Marinette said nothing, all she did was slowly look up at Chat noir. Her face was red, as red as the cold color of blood. Did she make it too obvious? I mean, of course, she loved Felix, but the feeling of guilt for partly liking chat noir, made her feel like she wasn't worthy of Felix.
Marinette put her sweater back on over her bandaged chest and said, "Well uhm...Alright, so im going to go back home. I probably see you when hawkmoth starts his battle..."
Chat noir nodded and watched the bluenette leave the apartment.
