Love

I think I'm in love with you. Romantically, but I don't know how to deal with platonic love, let alone differentiate romantic from platonic, but whenever your close to me I feel my heart beat faster, and it's like I'm the magnet to your fridge, I can't leave your side, and all I want is your attention. Sometimes I find myself laying up at night reading our messages, my only coherent thought being of you. So ya, I think I'm in love with you, you don't have to love me back. I just can't deal with keeping things from you.

Lance's eyes we're wide as he read the letter, proceedings to read it again, then a third time. His smile was wide and happy. A soft blush spread across his tanned cheeks like wild fire.  He got up, walked over to the door of his and Keith's shared dorm, they'd been dorm partners for two years now, last year hunk had chosen to room with his girlfriend Shay's older brother, after finding out the absolute hell that was he tried to get Lance to move back in with him, despite being his best friend lance had said no, with the excuse that he was rooming with a pretty boy. Lance and said pretty boy quickly became friends, sometimes bantering back and forth about a fake rivalry. It made them both laugh when people took them seriously.

However Lance had never seen himself in this situation, he thought Keith was introduced a guy named Lotor who was rooted on their hallway, he was proven wrong by Keith's little love letter, and was honestly thankful for it. Keith walked in slowly, looking at Lance pink covering his pale skin, he was nervous and anxious but had to know if Lance hated him. “I think I love you too, or at least I have the potentiality to.” Lance said, walking to Keith and pulling him into a tight hug, Keith hugged back, starting to cry. He was expecting a rejection and was extremely happy when he didn't get one. They moved over to Keith's bed, it being the cleaner one and fell asleep next to each other cuddling close.

Neither of them knew it yet, but the words lance side would come true one day, they'd move in together for real after college, Lance met Keith's mother and his older brother and his fiances. And Keith met Lance's large family. When they turned 27 they adopted a little girl named Belle, and moved into a quant little house in the country. Belle went to the preschool Shay worked at, allowing Keith to work in a tattoo shop in the middle of town, and lance to study marine biology in a large aquarium just inside the city. Keith could finally be happy, he had Lance, kosmo, and their 3 year old daughter Belle, and he always knew all of them were safe and sound. He didn't have to hide anymore, and he had Lance to thank for all of it.
