Falling Farther

I fall looking around to see nothing but a black void until the void seemed to fall around me like rain pouring down on the solid earth, I fall hard onto a solid concreate floor, pain shooting into my back like lighting striking the earth. Thankfully the pain subsided, but my surroundings were pitch black I reach for my bag and grab out my head lamp adjusting it. The light flickers for a moment, I hit the light sharply and it stops flickering. I look around seeing pipes and dim lighting, to my right, pipes, and to my left a door. The door is red and has a gold-like paint on the door knob and on the trim was pearly white, unlike the rest of my surroundings, I turn to the door and go for the knob, but I hear a noise from just outside my line of sight out of the corner of my eye. I turn away from the door, it must be a trap. I grunt and start walking towards a dim light, running my hand on a pipe as I walk by it. A red, translucent, jelly-like, substance was left over on my hand. I wipe the substance onto my pants, gross.. I keep running my hand along the pipe until I come across another door,  this time, it's grey, with a dull, dirty, and scoffed trim, with a dull golden knob. I reach for the knob and turn it, it's unlocked, I check my watch for the time and my notes, I had kept notes on everything currently know about this strange place. I hurried to put away my phone, I step through the door and it felt as if I fell down a flight of stairs hitting each stair on the way down.
