chapter 5 : his surprise

she looked above, she was deeply emerged by the lovely stars that covered the night sky. the bed of the galaxy amazed her, the blankets of stars that shined brightly across the sky did the same.

"you seem to love the sky so much shena," jungkook, the guy who she roamed around with at this very moment said, " but it would be better for you to love me instead."

"you and your flattery words are at it again Mr. jeon," she said back, not even affected by his words. normally, women that he'd flatter would fall immediately, but not her. she's one of those few who live a lady life. " you know you can't make me fall for you with those words, that's all sweet talk after all." she spoke sensibly to the gentlemen in front of her.

"you don't know it, but I do. you're falling for me slowly Mrs.min, I can feel it." he chuckled to the fair lady behind him.

"oh don't bother Mr. jeon, it's not going to get you anywhere," she said back, she looked at the sky once more to see how much of an aesthetic it was. "I've only known you this whole evening, and likewise for you, yet you act as is you known me for a while now. what do you want from me Mr.jeon?" she asked the guy in front of her frankly.

"your heart," he stated his deal, " I want you to fall for me."

"don't you think you're being too frank with me? i could just avoid you then-"

"But you can't do that now mrs. min," he said as he stopped the motorcycle, she then noticed that they were now out of the city, she must have been looking at the sky for too long. adoration can give you a sore in some part of your body. "right now, you're with me, which makes you mine."

"and what makes that a fact right now Mr. jeon?" she laughed lightly, he got down the motorcycle and put the stand-up, he then cornered her so she's locked towards him. he looked at her he moved closer towards her making their faces inches apart, " because I'm about to do this.." he moved closer to her face, she started to feel tense.

slap!

he moved back, stunned by her sudden slap, he looked at her with shocked eyes as he could not believe what she just did.

"and I just did that," she said glaring at him, she got off the motorcycle seat and stood up tall and straight. "Mr.jeon, I do not know what I did for you to disrespect me like that?do you think of me as some low peasant just for you to try and steal a kiss from me?" she roared at him, he just looked at her with a surprised face.

"look Mr. jeon, I thought you were just bluffing, I didn't think you really would do something that stupid. I feel disappointed with this impression you gave me," she said fixing her skirt.

"you're... the first person to ever slap me and tell me that..." he replied still astonished, she looked at him with a cold stare," i-i did everything, I brought you out here, and filled you in with this romantic atmosphere,i even bought a new motorcycle just to-"

"look Mr. jeon, I've only known you for a short evening, if you think I'm the type of girl to sleep with you after a few small gestures and flattering words then you should go get a life." she then took out her phone. "I'll get going then,"

she then started walking back the road barefoot, holding her stalletos in her left hand and holding her phone to ask her dad to call someone to pick her up.

"yah! shena wait!" he yelled to her, but she ignored him and continued to walk, he immediately hopped on his mobile and drove to catch up to her. as he was able to get to her side, "shena please, get on the motor I'll drive you back in the city. don't walk barefoot like that!"

"Leave me alone Mr. jeon," she said not even glancing at him, she was so done and turned off by his disrespectful behavior.

"please shena, I can't just leave you here like this," he said continuing to drive by her side.

"so you won't have a more tainted reputation?" she said hinting, she stopped in her tracks and looked at him seeking for an answer, "so that rumors won't spread? stop,I can handle myself I'm 24 years old already."

"no, my conscience will kill me knowing I've left a lady out here," he defended himself from her rude sarcastic questions.

"How can I even trust you? you've managed to bring me out here in the middle of nowhere, tried to seduce me into getting in bed with you. you're not a trustworthy person Mr. jeon I'll tell you that." she rolled her eyes towards the guy, she started to walk again leaving the man in front of her speechless.

"ok ok, no more funny business i promise!" he yelled starting to move and following her pace, she then pretended to not hear anything and just kept on walking, this argument was getting nowhere so he decided to block her path. "i promise, no more monkey business, I'll just get you a cab too so I'll be able to know you'll be safe."

she looked at him with a look and sighed.

"coming from the person who brought me out here."

"ok, i promise, that's all." he pleaded with that lady in front of him.

"apologize."

"what?"

"apologize for what you did this whole evening."

"I'm not doing that."

"suit yourself, I'm just going to have to walk-" she said about to start walking.

"ok ok! I'm sorry," she rose her brow to what he said, he let out an irritated groan, the evening did not go out the way he wanted, he was disappointed in himself and so was she. "I'm sorry for ruining this evening."

"much better." she sat on the mobile and held onto his waist.

he felt flustered by her sudden gesture, he was stunned by her sudden emotional change, it was something he never experienced. well... he did have an experience, before her, there was a she. and she rocked his world, not only was she able to love him but also break him.
