Chapter 6

Pyralis's pov

I put on a red cocktail dress that stopped mid-thigh. It was fitting and had a puffy see through left sleeve on my right arm while the other was bare.

My hair flowed down to the bust, looking in the mirror I realized that I look appropriate. Great.

I walked out of my room and entered the elevator pressing the level four button and waited for the 'ding'. I walked inside the Grand hall and it wasn't empty like before but filled with people in suits and formal dresses.

I looked around and spotted my parents talking to the guests I've met before. Walking towards them their attention focuses on me.

" Sweetie you look beautiful" Elizabeth says.

" Thank you" i said.

I looked at daddy who is wearing a black suit with a white tie and mummy who had a white dress that is embroidered with pearls on the bust and flowed down stopping at her ankles revealing her plain white flats.

" You look gorgeous sweetheart" daddy says.

" Thank you and the others are getting ready they should be here soon I'm going to eat and walk around afterwards I'm going to sleep" daddy nodded in understanding.

I went to the table of food and piled up at least four plates and ate it in less than ten minutes. 

I put a mint in my mouth and walked around the room. Males were staring at me making me feel uncomfortable. 

I was in front of the way I came in and just as I was about to leave the door opened and I swished my way past a few guests, I felt as if I were being followed so I walked into the many balconies and stopped until I was at the edge which gave away a lovely scenery of the ocean.

The crashing waves, sqwaking seagulls, and whistling winds filled my ears blocking out the chatter coming from inside.

I felt a strange prescence from behind me. I didn't bother turning around, I ignored the voice saying stop and I jumped off the balcony and landed in the ocean.

My shoes fell off my feet, my lower half turning into my red long whispy tail. I held my shoes in one hand and swam the way to my safe haven.

*five minutes later*

I turn back into human form completely dry, my powers has it's advantages.  I walked all the way to the top of the volcano. I jumped in and just before I landed in the magma, cherufè's hand stopped me.

Cherufè is a creature made of rock and magma. He lives in the center of the of the volcano sitting in the magma pool where the magma fall ontop of his head.

" Welcome back my queen" Cherufè says bowing his head as I did the same.

I walked up his arm, climbed his shoulder and up his elongated tusk. I sat down and leaned my back on his tusk as I was now face to face with him.

" Have you been well my queen?" He asks using his extremely deep voice.

"I have, thank you for asking, have you?" I asked.

"My sleep hasn't been well, I am concerned for the safety of the kingdom"

" How long has it been since you've slept?"

" About two weeks"

My eyes widened. " You must sleep"

"My queen, the kingdom must be protected"

"I understand and I can assure you that that the kingdom will be protected,  it is under my care, as for you, you must sleep, if and I mean if something does happen you will not be useful having you being sleep deprived"

" My queen" he said tenderly.

" Sleep, we will talk more when your well rested, goodnight Cherufè"

" Goodnight....  my queen "  his eyes slowly closed and his magma ignited body dimmed.

I climbed down Cherufè and walked around the pool of magma and was greeted by many dragons who sleep here.

They bow their heads as I did the same and petted their huge scaly heads. Two full grown hell hounds each at my side rubbed their heads on my thighs. I chuckled and rubbed their necks causing them to purr in content.

I yawned and walked towards my room which was right behind Cherufè.  I opened the door and was welcomed with a happy yet sleepy Lycan leaping into my arms.

"Hello Lycan,  mummy missed you" I walked over to the large circular bed and crawled until I reached the mountain of pillows and ontop of a fluffy red blanket.

I rested my head on a pillow and placed Lycan on another and watched him curl up into a ball.

" Goodnight Lycan"

He squeaked and slowly closed his eyes.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*four hours later*

*howling*

I shot up from my blissful sleep and ran out of my room. I looked at Cherufè who was sound asleep.

Good.

I stood on the surface of the pool of magma, a fire serpent rose up I was now stand on it's head, it stopped until we reached the top of the volcano. I hopped of it's head and petted his nose and it went back inside.

I ran towards to the sound of howling and snarling. I stopped when I saw a pack of hell hounds circling something.

I stepped in closer, they looked at me and bowed their heads while moving away revealing something I have never seen before up close.

A boy.
