The Little Piglin

"𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴?"

The day became night pretty quickly, Techno and Y/n were still asleep on the soft white rub in front of the fireplace. But a loud rumble was happening outside then the house was being hit by raindrops, they hit the windows, the roof and everywhere around the house.

Techno would up to a loud crack, thunder. He rubbed his eyes. He forgets how much he hates rain and thunder, he got up and shut the curtains it won't be sunny for a little bit. Then there was another crack this time it scared Y/n out of her sleep. She ran to Techno and held his legs, she didn't like what was going on.

Techno has to remember she's been in the nether for half of her life and has never seen or heard rain/thunder before. He picked her up, her arms immediately wrap around his neck and he gently rubbed her back comforting her.

"It's alright, I'm here, it's just rain and thunder, it won't hurt us," Y/n was confused because she's never heard of rain or thunder, she looked at the window and a flash of light and then a big boom happened afterwards scaring Y/n, she hide her face into the crook of Technos neck.

Techno rubbed her back and hummed a sweet tune, Y/n looked at him, she's the tune before. It was a Piglin tune, when Piglins went to fight they hummed a tune, it could be sweet or it could be dark.

She cleared her throat lightly and hummed with Techno to keep herself distracted from the thunder. Techno sat on one of the chairs at the table and placed Y/n on one of his legs, him and Y/n just hummed to the song. She wondered how Techno knows the tune if he's been in this world instead of the Nether. They both ended the tune and Y/n looked up at him.

"H-h-how d-do you k-know t-t-the so-ng?" Techno understood what she meant through her stutter.

"Believe it or not...during some point in my life...I lived in the Nether, the tune was sung to me every night by someone I hardly remember, either my mother or father...I can't remember, it's been too long. They sung it to me almost every night, when I was scared of the screams of the ghasts, the clicking sounds of the strider or they loud oinks of zombie Piglins. I was t always so fierce, I had my fears. I just...remember it and sometimes it calms me down as well," Techno said.

Y/n looked out one of the windows and saw the rain hitting against the glass of the window.

"W-why is t-t-the sk-y cry-ing?" She asked looking up at Techno.

"It's just the day for it to happen, I'm not really sure why it's raining today," he picked her up. "And it's not crying, water vapor turn into clouds when it cools and condenses, that is turned back into liquid water or ice," Techno said. Y/n didn't understand what he was talking about but just nodded in agreement.

"P-papa?"

"Yes?"

"C-c-can we g-go p-play in t-the ra-in?"

"Maybe not this time, another time when we have proper clothes for you wear, like a rain coat and other things but," he picked her up and walked her to the window. "We can watch the rain," a flash of thunder happened and scared Y/n, she again hid her face in the crook of Technoblade's neck.

~Time Skip~
Techno and Y/n sat by the window watching the raindrops run down the window. Y/n stood up and placed her hands on the cold window a loud clash of thunder caught her off guard. She jumped and accidentally bumped into Technoblade.

Technoblade picked her up and looked out the window.

"It's okay, thunder will not hurt you, I promise," he said as he headed up the ladder. He set Y/n on the bed. She looked out the window as Techno was getting new clothes on and he was going to change Y/n. He grabbed a big t-shirt and helped her take off her old shirt. She raised her arms and Techno placed it on her. Y/n removed her shorts and Techno grabbed some cleaner shorts and helped her get in her shorts.

He laid Y/n down on the bed and grabbed a white blanket and placed it over her body, Techno grabbed his book that he liked to read and laid against the headboard, Y/n was still looking out the window.

Y/n looked at him and moved closer to him to see what he was reading. She leaned on his side to read but...she can't read.

"Would you like me to read to you?" He asked, she gently nodded and Techno started to read to her.
