The Rowdyruff way

After that bruising fight, the boys retreated back to their hideout where they planned their every evil scheme. Originally the house was designated to mojo and him, but the boys took over and added their own theme and style to the house, including bryson of course.

The place was a bit of a mess, but they managed to get around in it. It was around midday when the fight got cut short and feeling hot, they all laid down flat on their custom cushions.

Brick then started of by asking," what the heck happened out there". Butch replied," I don't know, but those girls have a new trick up their sleeves", "of course they do, did you see how close we were to winning!!", boomer yelled back. Then bryson looked paralyzed when he remembered who came to save the day," was that who I think it was", he rattled in his mind, then he noticed his brothers looking at him from across their cushions," Are you going to puke or what", brick said in his usual tone, " yeah is something the matter", boomer replied with his eyebrow cocked.

Knowing his brothers wanted an answer, he spoke up and explained to them," I know who that girl is, she used to be my partner when we were out on the mean streets alone, and I believe her name was brenda or something", after his explanation, brick asked sarcastically, " so let me get this straight, you basically have an ex-girlfriend who wants to exact her revenge on you for leaving her?", " She's not my girlfriend", bryson yelled at brick a bit flustered," bryson's got a girlfriend, bryson's got a girlfriend", butch and boomer said in unison and obviously horsing around with bryson, then bryson gave them a sharp and angry glare which made the both of them stop and stopped brick from smirking in the background. " Whatever, all I'm concerned about is how she got back to townsville and how she got my special power, because I'm pretty sure she could not do that before".

This also left the others thinking and it left brick with a solution, " guys don't you see, all we have to do is train ourselves even harder, get better at combat, get faster with our attacks and overall stronger than those sissies, so are you with me", then the other three yelled in unison and out of inspiration, "heck yeah!"," alright, then let's do this" brick finished of with an evil expression on his face.

Mean while, the girls were already at it training in the simulation room that they have had for a while now. Out of kindness, bubbles and blossom allowed brenda to start of first, even though buttercup disagreed but they ignored her petty put up and let brenda in. Blossom asked," what difficulty level should I put the simulation on brenda", "bet she would be able to handle at least level 8, I mean did you see her out there today", buttercup yelled with enthusiasm, and bubbles suggested," maybe level 11, after all she has to be as hardcore as possible, like me", adding that last part boastfully because of what happened last time, then buttercup gave bubbles a whatever look and blossom stated, "I think she should start at level 8, besides buttercup is right, we need to take the training easy bubbles", "okay fine", bubbles huffed then blossom set the level and configured the scenery in which she would fight then blossom told her it was good to go. Brenda said sternly, "mission begin!".

At the boys side of things, bryson and boomer were paired to train together whiles butch and brick were training elsewhere. Boomer began with a blow to bryson's face, feeling the force of the punch, he returned one to boomer to and when he felt it too, they both decided to levitate of the ground and began to punch each other at hyper speed. The punches kept coming until bryson flew higher and noticed there was a strong light from the sun which he used to his advantage, so he took a part of it and molded it into a light-sword, all before boomer came after him and bryson waited for him to zip past, grab his shirt and pointed the sword at him which shocked him out of the sky and hitting hard into the ground. Boomer got up slowly and  shouted," Is that all ya got", then bryson gave him a signal saying 'bring it on' then boomer flew towards him holding an electric ball in his hand whiles bryson was still holding the sword and they both flew towards each other at top speed and when their weapons collided, a huge explosion blew them apart with bryson flying to where brick and butch were sparing off, which was in an abonded arena, and boomer flew off into the woods and landed chest first in a tree branch. He yelled in pain.

Butch and brick saw bryson all burnt up and bruised then butch asked," so I see your training is going well, right?", then brick asked," where the heck is that scumbag", bryson pointed to the woods and the two just gave looks to each other saying,"really", then they picked up bryson and flew to the woods to get boomer and whiles flying, bryson spoke out and said," guys I just realized that me and boomer combining our special powers causes a huge explosion and I think we could use that to our advantage in our next fight", then the other two nodded in agreement.

They landed and found boomer moaning on the floor, probably still feeling the effects of the blast and brick yelled at him saying," get up you winny baby"," yeah you don't want your girl to think you've gone soft do ya", butch added whiles bryson held his left arm in pain and chuckled a little." Yeah,yeah, I know what I'm doing, besides I don't need your petty insults", boomer said faintly and angrily. " Whatever man, let's go back and take a break", bryson said and they flew back to their house.

Brenda had just finished her last battle with a giant robot and the monster counter showed 20 kills and even buttercup was shocked,"man that's 4 more monsters than I've killed in that level", she said and they came to congratulate her. Brenda had a smile all over her face and the professor came in and asked the girls what was going on. Instead they all came round the professor and hugged him. Since it was evening, the professor told the girls to go brush their teeth before bedtime and they did as he asked. When tucked in their blankets, professor gave them each a kiss and they slept.

The boys had fallen asleep too by the time the girls did. But little did they know that other things were happening in another dimension that were coming for them, but that is another story for next time, until then and goodbye.
