Inside a pink room of a two-story house, a little girl with dark hair sat on her pink-princess hair, playing with her blonde princess doll. The doll and the girl were wearing matching pink matching and she was braiding the doll's hair when a tall man with dark hair and brown eyes and a wide grin on his face.
"It's time for bed, Peanut." He said, as he turned the light off.
"But Dadeee ,I'm not sweepy !" She cried."It's school tomorrow." He story, as he turned on the light and walked towards her bed and sat next to her little feet. "How about I tell you a story?"
The girl's brown eyes were shining brightly. "Yaaaayh! A pwincess stowee!"
" Lily, I'm gonna tell you a story that your grandfather told me when I was your age." He said.
" Is it abowt a pwincess?" She asked.
"No, it's about how the street lamp got its glow." He smiled
"It sownds sooo borwing!" She cried and threw her arms up and then dropped them down on the bed.
" But it's not, I promise." He placed his right hand over his heart and held out his pinky on his left hand.
" Okay." She said as she held out held out her own pinky finger and they made a pinky promise.
"It all started a long time ago..."
