Chapter 14: Dead and Gone

Evelyn POV

The must filled the room burning my nose. The girls and I hung from the dingy walls by blood stained ropes. Every part of my body ached and I could tell the girls were feeling the same.

"Evelyn, you alright?" Tyona croaked.

A lump formed in my throat as I thought about Katherine. She was family, she was my ride or die till the end. The tears started pouring down my face. I shook my head 'no'. I couldn't speak, I was in too much pain. Something was missing from my heart. That something was Katherine.

Ayna POV

Evelyn was broken. Everyone was weak. Me, I was gone. Seeing someone killed before me and knowing I could be next just was messing with me. The door creaked open as I raised my head. It was Nia and Breunna. They approached us and you could see the rage in our eyes.

"We're here to get you ready for round 2. When we unlock you, you can't get away or you will be killed automatically or totured. Clear?" Nia explained.

We all shook our heads as they got us down from the wall. They took us upstairs and let us clean ourselves up. Breunna supplied us with clothes and shoes then brought us down to the cellar where the gameshow is. I glanced at the rest of my friends. We all were suprised to see Destini looking the same. Her head was down and she was in demon mode. Razor sharp teeth, blood stained, snake like tongue. It was a horrifying sight but she went back to normal when she saw us.

"Alright, on the chairs now." Nia said. She tied us up as Jacob walked in. This time he was wearing a hoodie, Jordans and a jeans as well as that same smile he had on when he killed Katherine.

"Let Round 2 begin. Who will be sacrificing themselves?" Jacob asked looking around. "No one. well I'll pick, Ayna and Evelyn." He said. My chair was dragged over to left wall of Destini and Evelyn was facing me on the right wall.

"This time, Destini, you have to save your friends. You have 30 seconds." Jacob said facing Destini. He obviously knew that Des couldn't move so he was just here to kill us.

"Alright 30 seconds up say bye." Jacob said. Destini closed her eyes and so did I.

Two bullets hit my chest and one hit my heart. Every thing that ever happened to me played in my mind. I felt so much pain. Evelyn and I let out ear splitting screams as our lives ended.

As fast as the pain came it was gone. I was gone...

Montez POV

I couldn't process it. They were gone. Three of my sisters gone. This was almost as bad as when I found out the boys were dead, especially Chresanto. I don't even care anymore. Let them kill me. Fuck everything man.
