Chapter 9: I Need Someone

Destini POV

The rain felt nice and cold on my fur as I ran through the forest. I stopped to catch my breath and looked at the cresent moon. Standing up I changed back into a human and started walk back home.

"Just a little while longer." I said in my mind.

I continued to walk until I heard heavy footsteps behind me. I sped up my pace until I was running as fast as possible. The person was right on

my trail, it must have been a hunter. I turned back into a werewolf until it happened. The bullet pierced through my fur in my heart. My second heart got hit with a silver bullet. My werewolf heart. I dropped down and let out a deafening scream. I automatically changed into a human as my werewolf self left me.

"They said you were a hard one Destini. They lied." Madelyn said

towering over me. Her smirk made me want to just choke her.

I spit some blood onto her shoe and let out a weak, humorless laugh. "Madelyn, they only speak the truth."

I kicked her legs from under her. The gun flew out her hand and landed next to me. I took no time to grab and shoot her in her head. She died instantly. I carefully got up and made my way to my house. I got on the porch but collapsed.

Katherine POV

Everyone is at my house just chilling except for Destini. We all tried to call her but she didn't answer. Evelyn came earlier and scared me shitless. Right now everybody is just enjoying some hot chocolate and ice cream. Well I was until Craig came over and kissed me. Like one of those 'Take me back I need you' kisses.

"Katherine please take me back I miss you. Please." Craig said.

"Alright, but if you slip up I will beat your ass." I answered.

Everyone started clapping and smiling. But, as usual all good things come to an end, party over. The girls started to leave while me and Craig cleaned up with Jacob. The boys were staying a night so I headed upstairs with Evelyn. Everything seems fine and normal so I knocked out.

Then, something didn't feel completely right.....
