Chapter 5. Work

You both were at the airport together, but going two separate locations. "I'm gonna cry." You say hugging him. "Princess our flight isn't until three hours." He says hugging you. "But still." You bury your face into his shirt.

He had to do some work in France while you had to do some modeling in California for a lingerie brand. "You promise to be as safe as possible right?" You say. "Yes baby I do." He says. "I'll come to Paris because I know my work is only gonna be like a weekend." You say. "I'll see you there." He smiles then kissed you softly.

Hours later~

You were about to sob seeing him go. He waved at you before he went into the gates to get on the plane. "Stay strong y/n." You sniffled to yourself trying not to cry while walking to the gate for your flight.

In LA~

You got into your hotel and did everything Max told you to stay safe traveling alone. You called him on FaceTime when you got settled into your hotel room. "Bonjour." He says. "Hi max." You say. He spoke a few sentences in French and you responded "Huh?". "Sorry, my brain is fucked because I've been speaking French for the past couple of hours, but how are you love?" He says sitting in front of a pottery wheel with nothing but boxers and an apron on. "I'm good." You finally respond after staring at him a little. "That's good, did you do everything I told you to do?" He asks. "Of course, babydaddy." You say.

He blinked. "That's a new nickname." He smiled. "You gon be my babydaddy next time I see you, cause you looking hella fine." You say staring closely at the camera. He laughed and smiled as you clicked the button 59 times to take pictures of him. "My new Lock Screen." You smile. He started making the vase. "Stop staring your making me nervous." He says rubbing the wet clay making you feel some things. "I wish I was there with you." You say. "If you were here I know damn well I wouldn't get any type of work done." He says. "You can work on this p- nevermind." You laugh to yourself.

You guys talked as he was getting frustrated making the vase. "Ooo it's so sexy when you frustrated." You say laying in the bed eating chocolate covered strawberries. "Thank you." He chuckled a little while focusing on the vase. "You gon make me one?" You ask. "Of course babe." He says and finally get the first vase done. "I FUCKIN DID IT FINALLY!" He says jumping up. "Goddamnn!" He sat back down man spread with his head back. You secretly took a few pictures. "I'm so proud of you baby." You say. "Thank you, beautiful." He smiles and puts the vase to the side. "You want a big vase or a little one, or do you want a tea set?" He says. "Surprise me." You smile.

He worked on the tea set for you for hours and you stayed on the phone with him the whole time. "A tea set!" He reveals. "Imma cry." You smile then get out of the frame. "We'll be able to drink out of it by the time you get here." He says. "No because I'm really about the cry." You say. "I just had a great ass idea I'll call you back I'm about to wash my hands and write it out." He says. "I love you bye baby." He hangs up. "I love you to- Well." You smile and then go shower.

The photoshoot~

You signed in at the front and they led you to hair and makeup. You met with the hairstylists and makeup artists where they told you how they were gonna do your hair and makeup. It was quick and professional as it should be.

Max called you as you were in the middle of getting your hair and makeup done. "Oh, you're working." He says with his deep sleepy voice that you could hear right in your ear because you had on your AirPods. "Well not yet, I'm just getting hair and makeup done." You say. "Do you want me to call you back?" He asks. "I can talk" you smile a little. "I don't wanna talk I just wanna stare at you." He takes about 123 pictures. "Boy you better stop before your phone go off accidentally calling the police or something." You say. "You right." He chuckles sleepily.
