"Hey you little sickly, what are you doing here?" asked a voice
I looked up and realized who was standing in front of me, and I nearly froze to death.
"R-Rosalind" I tremble as I said her name
"Mm? Why are you saying my name? I'm asking you a question! What are you doing here?!"
"A...um...ah... th-this is my favorite s-spot," I mutter up my courage and begin to speak boldly, "What are YOU doing here?"
"Tsk, I see you're getting bolder this day," said Rosalind with detest in her tone
"And so what about it? what do you want me to do about it?" I ask boldly
"Hah, I like you. I'm Rosalind, who are you?" ask Rosalind rather nicely
"My name is Seri, Seri Weilard Amberson," I reply
"Hmm... everybody knows you're Weilard Amberson. And your popularity is really something else. Did you know everyone called you a sickly bastard?" said Rosalind with a smirk
I clench my hand but I couldn't do anything because she was right. I sign and read; indirectly ignoring her for my own good.
"Hey! I'm talking to you, you bastard child!" said Rosalind angrily
This is not good, I shouldn't have provoked her. Aish, what's wrong with me? Let's not do stupid things like this anymore and just live Seri Weilard Amberson's life. for the next 2 years, I begin to live Seri's life quietly as in the novel. And finally, the D-day arrived.
"My daughter! my poor daughter! no!" cried, my mom
I smile faintly and vomit blood. I tried to stop coughing, but the harder I tried, the more blood came out. Everyone around me, rather Seri Weilard Amberson, cries as if it was the end of the world. However, they're still as healthy as ever and perhaps this is truly the end of the world for Seri Weilard Amberson. I smile a bittersweet smile and slowly feels so sleepy and could no longer hear any voices or cried.
