The Past Part 2: The Egg

Natsu's pov

Me and y/n are friends for about 2 weeks now and we're always together. She even saved me once from Erza. She's so cool. Today I was training in the forest and y/n was watching me. I was punching a tree when suddenly something fell out of it on my head. It was an egg. Not a normal one. A dragon egg. It was still warm. Y/n looked at me with a questioning look and I explained it was a dragon egg. We decided we would 'raise' it together. We went to the guild to show the egg to everyone. "Oi gramps I found a dragon egg. Can you hatch it?" "You fool. There is no magic that can hatch eggs and make life. You have to hatch it by keeping it warm and giving it love." 'keeping it warm huh' I thought and got ready to do my fire dragons roar when Gramps hit my head with his stick. "Fool. Keep it warm. Don't burn it!" "I'll help you keeping it warm if that's okay." y/n asked and I nodded "Sure". "He's so gonna eat it." I heard Gray said when we walked out of the guild. After that we went to the fields in the park and sought an open place. We built a 'house' and y/n showed me how to keep the egg warm. She hugged the egg to give it her body heat. When I did the same the egg made some noises and moved a bit. "I think it likes you Natsu" y/n said and I blushed a bit. After a while of keeping the egg warm y/n said "It's funny. We're just like a family. You're the daddy, I'm the mommy and the egg is our kid." at this I started blushing even more. I finally found a family. And so when evening fell I fell asleep with my 'family' at my side. The next morning when I woke up I saw the egg was gone and I woke up y/n. We went to the guild and told everyone what had happened.

Y/n's pov

Gray said "Told ya he'd eat it." and Natsu started yelling "I didn't eat it. I really didn't. And now my dragon egg is gone" and tears fell on the ground. "I believe you didn't eat it." I told him and that managed to cheer him up a bit. He brushed his tears away with his sleeve and Elfman suddenly came out with the egg. He said we looked cold so he took the egg with him so he could hold it warm. Suddenly the egg started to crackle and a little blue flying cat came out of it. He flew on top of Natsu head and said "Aye!". We decided to call him Happy because after he was born everyone was Happy again.

Yeah so this was much the same as in the anime and the manga. But the other chappies will be more original. See you Sunday.
