Agencies and Communities

Now that we've got the basics out of the way I thought it would be good to add some of the Agencies and Communities before listing any of the Cryptids themselves. Specifically the main influences as of 2021.

First, the NCIA or Neritia Cryptid Intelligence Agency. I mentioned the NCIA in my qualifications page but never really specified who they are or what they do. The NCIA is a Cryptid Investigations Agency dedicated specifically to the Cryptid collective.
They investigate crimes and anomalies alongside gathering intel on potential assets and threats. If you should come across this Agency, do be aware they aren't particularly fond of humans. Proceed with caution.

Second, my gang, the Black Rose Serpents. My gang is the first and only gang to be completely made up of Cryptids. Any humans who are in my gang were Cryptids when they joined and there are but 1 or 2 as of now. Unfortunately humans are NOT allowed to join. Though we do welcome humans to become allies.
If you are human and wish to join then you will have to become a Cryptid. This can be done many different ways depending on the species and type you wish to be.
Media and expectation can commonly be deceptive (Not all Cryptids can turn humans and not all humans can be turned into Cryptids due to several evolutionary genetic markers).
Our gang does consult with the NCIA on rare occasion.

Third, the Phantom Elite. The Phantom Elite is a task force independent of the NCIA with the same motivation, more community orientated than the Black Rose Serpents; the same values but individual morals. They follow their own code.
Of all 3, the Phantom Elite would most likely have the best interaction with humans as they strongly believe the limitations of bias should never be an issue. They also welcome and encourage humans to send member applications and/or requests.

Then there is the United Planets Counsil. The UPC is a collective of individuals dedicated to confronting interplanetary conflicts, as well as maintaining positive relations within the Multiverse.
They have one Agency on every planet required to send daily updates on every occuring event, globally. On this Earth, the NCIA.

There are several Agencies not listed for confidentiality purposes. Any gang competition I may have are human, so I don't worry about it. There are schools, hangouts and jobs specifically designed for Cryptids but will NOT be listed for everyone's safety. Everything else is basically the same with a few differences meant to fit the Cryptid collective instead of the human race. Finally, the way a Cryptid lives is usually determined by what species they are.
