chapter 5

it's definitely less awkward to talk to corpse when we play games together but when we're together. it's just silent and i don't want to be like all the other couple that just make out all the time. "sy can we talk before you start you stream."

"uh sure." i said and made my way out of the room. he pinned me between his arms. "w-what are you doing." i asked nerviously. 

"i'm tired of how awkward we're being. let's talk." he said. 

"what is there to talk about."

"do you want to be with me."

"yeah." i said after a short silents. my cheeks were red already. 

"then we need to meet halfway." he said. i placed my hands on his chest. he leaned forward and connected our lips. i softly kissed back. he pulled back. "no more being awkward. right?" he said. i nodded and slipped back into the streaming room. i was embarrassed. i sat back in my chair making sure i wasn't recording. i sighed as i tried to calm myself down. i took a few deep breaths and started my stream. just chatting. 

"hello" rae's voice come through. 

"rae?"

"yeah." she said. "i'm just loading up the game now. is corpse joining?"

"he didn't say anything to-"

"hello friends." a deep voice said. i had to act like i haven't see him in months. 

"corpse you're here." i said happily. he chuckled. 

"hey syk." he said. 

"hello. i'm here." toast said. 

"i'm loaded. who making a server."

"i already made one. the codes in discord." he said and i looked at it after my phasmophobia had loaded up. i entered the code and showed the game to my stream. 

after stream. 

i walked to my room to see corspe on the bed. 

"what are you still doing here. it's getting really late." i said. 

"i'll leave in a second. i just wanted to ask you something." he said and i looked at him curiously. i sat beside him. "would you be willing to move to my place." he asked and i looked at him. 

"isn't that a little fast." i asked. 

"i know but i think it get awkward when you know there is other people here." he said.

"don't you have a roommate."

"not for long. he just messaged me that he found a place." he said. 

"uhm. can i think about it." i asked and he nodded. 

"take your time. i just wanted to ask. if youre not ready then i'll ask later." he said and he got up to leave. "okay?"

"okay." i said and he leans down to peck my lips. 

"bye."

"bye corpse." i said. he smiled back to me and left. i lay on my bed. his question going though my head.
