chapter 6

sykkuno's pov

i had grabbed the last box from my car to bring inside. "so this is the boyfriend?" his roommate said. 

"yeah. you were leaving so i asked him to move in. i didn't expect him to say yes." he said. 

"well. i'm not offically moved in. i need my streaming set up." i said. corpse wrapped his arm around my waist. 

"i already have the boxes in you're room." he said. 

"thanks. uh do you think you could show me."

"yeah. sure. this way." he said going inside. i waved to his room mate. 

"it was nice meeting you." i said and i follow corpse. corpse goes to a room upstairs. 

"it's this room." he said leaning on the door frame. 

"thanks corpse." i said with a smile. i walked in moving passed corpse. 

"i'll leave you to unpack." he said. 

"okay." i said and i picked up a box to place on the table. i spent the next hour unpacking my streaming set up and the privacy wall for the background. i sighed seeing all the heavy stuff was unpacked. i grabbed another box that had my clothes in it. i started folding it and putting it in the dresser. a knock came to the door. 

"you should eat something." corpse said with some burgers. i put down the shirt i was holding and walked over. he hands me the bag. 

"are you going to eat with me." i asked. 

"yeah. i have my food already on the table." he said and we go downstairs and his roommate and his girlfriend were on the couch watching a movie. i sat down at the table and corpse smiled to me. i began eating in silences. after a while it just got awkward. 

"i thought we weren't going to make things awkward." he asked. 

"i'm not. i'm just eating." i said. 

"but we're not talking like we do when we play games together." he said. i stood up grabbing my food. 

"i think i'll just eat later. i have unpacking to do." i said avoiding his questions. 

"really. you're avoiding me now." he said as i walked away. i just continued unpacking. 

3 hours later

corpse came to the door when i was laying down in the bed. scrolling through twitter. "can i come in?" he asked. 

"yeah." i said. i sat up as he made his way over. 

"is all this awkward to you." he asked and i shook my head. 

"are you sure. it's you're first day here and you're already avoiding me."

"i'm not avoiding you." i said. 

"then why did you leave the table." he said. 

"because you were making it awkward." i said and he looked at me confused. "you could've started a conversation but instead you just assume i was making it awkward." i said and he was silent. 

"i'm sorry"

"it's fine. just don't assume things without talking with me about it." i said and he nodded. he sighed and laid down beside me. he pulled me to lay with him.
