Married Life

"Hey babe" Sean calls, coming home from work. Kurt is in the kitchen, chopping up some onions.

"Hey, how was work?" He says in a teary voice.

"What's wrong?" Sean asks placing his brief case on the floor, and walking to his husband. "Why are you crying?"

"Nothing." Kurt says, wiping a tear, rolling of his cheek. "Its the onions. The acid they make, makes a human cry."

"Oh. Yeah." He wraps his arms around Kurt's waist, and places his head in the opening between Kurt's neck, and shoulder. Kissing it, and looking down at the cut onions.

"How was work? You never answered my question." Kurt points out.

"Good. I guess. A few cases of shop lifting, that's it." And he kisses Kurt's neck again. Kurt lets out an airy chuckle.

"Well that's New York for ya. Hey can you let go now, I gotta put these in the pan, before the chicken burns."

"Okay."He kisses Kurt's neck one more time, and heads to the dining room table, carying his briefcase to do some paper work.

You can hear a few popping sounds from the hot oil, and the onions being exposed to one another. Once Kurt was done, He calles Sean's name.

"Sean?"

"Yeah."

"Can you set the table honey?"

"Yeah." Sean gets up from his paperwork, and lays his glasses on top of them, heading to the kitchen to get the plates, glasses, and utensils. Placing them on the table. Kurt comes in with the chicken, and some vegetables. They eat, and Kurt cleans up, as usual, while Sean returns to his paper work again.

Like every night, for the past 5 years. They used to be loving, and intimate with one another, but now, It just seems like they just re-live the same day, over and over again. Kurt being the "house wife" and Sean being the "man" of the house. He works from 7 in the morning, Till 4 in the afternoon. Kurt goes to his job at Vogue. Helping his mentor, Isabelle Wright, with things there.

They soon head up stairs together, and they go to bed. A boring, typical, married life,
