"Welcome to your next game." I rang the speakers. You and Sang-woo looked at each other in confusion, but your eye contact broke when he looked up. "(Y/N), this is Tug of War," he said slowly with a hurt look on his face. "I'm sorry Sang-woo, I'm hurt, just, I'll ruin it." He turned his head back down to look at you, but your eyes weren't on him, they were on the rope. "We'll be alright (Y/N), just keep your head up and follow me."
You let your face fall on his chest and tucked it in. "You know Sang-woo, you're different. Not like the others in here." He was in complete shock at what you just did. You pulled your head up and shook your head. "I'm sorry Sangwoo! That came out of nowhere! Let's go play the game! " You said happily. And walked in front of him. His face was a deep maroon, and he was paralyzed. He calmed himself down. And caught up to the others.

Soon everyone was lined up in rows with their group, and they sat down. You were in between Ali and and the curly-haired woman. Number 7, you thought, was the group you were in. Scared, but you knew Sang-woo would be right there with you, and whatever happens, he'll be there to greet you.
Everyone around you looked horrified, but you felt calm. You looked up ahead at the handsome man sitting there, and felt only relaxation. Ali looked back at you, and you smiled. "It will be okay Ali! "You said this as you looked at Sang-woo once more." Ali smiled and nodded.
"I will now announce the teams who will be playing first. The team that will be playing on the left tower is team 1. On the right, team 7. said the guard in front of you.
You closed your eyes. "Teams 1 and 7 will be the first teams to play. Go to your tower."
The woman behind you sighed. "Small dick bastard, you know, I made love to him, but that wasn't enough! He still went on a team without me, "she cried out. You turned your head around. "Now I'm stuck with these stupid girls, yikes," she continued. You turned your head back around and saw the two teams line up to play.
Team 1 consisted of the man with the tattoo and multiple other well-built individuals. Team 7, on the other hand, was made up of slightly less muscular men and many women. Team 1 was obviously going to win. They're much stronger, and even had a doctor on their team, who has to be as smart or even smarter than Sang-woo.
Both teams got into order, and grabbed the rope. It was going to start any minute.
Suddenly, the rope got pulled, and it tightened into a straight line. This is it. Multiple people are going to die once more. You closed your eyes again, and heard a loud gunshot. The game has begun.
Next you heard both teams grunting, and the rope being harshly pulled. You opened your eyes once more and saw Sang-woo looking back at you, worried. As soon as you caught his eyes, though, he darted his head back forward.
You wanted to touch him again, hold him, give him a sense of comfort in this mess. Comb through his hair with your fingers, and kiss him till he calms down. You were too far away from him, though, so there was no use.
Suddenly, group 7 fell from the tower. Group 1 has won, like a toy excepted. CHOPPING!A sharp tool, information from a guillotine, chopped the rope, and group 7 fell to their death.
This startled everyone, and sweat dripped off of your cheek.
The following players, player... player... player... player... player... player... player... player... player... and player..., are eliminated.
The men in the pink uniforms, the guards, carried all the bodies away in coffins tied with a pink ribbon.
A tear came from your eye, out of shock, but you wiped it off and breathed.
"I will now draw the teams for the next round. "Team 4," said the guard. Your heart suddenly sank. Tension rose as your team stood up. Your breathing became heavy, and you grabbed your torso, remembering where you got stabbed by the man on team 1. Ali patted your shoulder for comfort. "Team 5," finished the guard. You looked to your side. Team 5 was all men. All strong men. You gasped, but Ali looked at you to cut it out.
"Shit," you heard behind you, from the woman.
"Teams 4 and 5, please go to your towers."
Your team started walking, and you passed team 1. "Ha, I was looking forward on killing you guys myself," the tattooed man said while walking by Sang-woo. But Sang-woo was focused, like always.
Your team finally reached an elevator. And you entered the doors. Once everyone was in, the doors shut, making everyone look back.
You stepped to your right side and sat down, with your head bowed down.
"Don't be so dispirited!" 001st playerHe was old, wise. "Tug-of-war isn't about strength," he continued, but got cut off by a man with a new face. "Then what is it about? Hun?"
The old man continued, "In tug-of-War, with a good strategy and good teamwork, you can win even if your team is weaker." You looked at the old man, but looked back down. "The only one who can save us now is the Lord," a man said, and player 240 looked at him and sighed.
"You're barely standing, old man. Shut up, and save your strength!" another man saidYou rolled your eyes at his response. "Let's hear him out, ok?" Calmly said, "456. "I played my share of Tug-of-War in my hometown when I was young," the old man spoke again. "And I rarely lost! Even if I was on a weaker team, and all odds were against us. Listen closely, and I'll tell you how my team and I beat them back in the day. First off, the leader is very important. The person closest to the leader keeps an eye on how the other team is doing, and the rest of the team focuses on the back of their leader's head and follows their lead. If the leader seems weak, or looks like they're spirit is running out, then the game is over. Then at the end of the rope, you'll need someone strong and dependable, like the baker of the ship. Then, it all matters how the team is laid out. Place the rope in the center and have people alternate sides. Both of your feet should be forward...." The old man continued. Everyone, even the man who doubted him, looked focused
. The team was arranged perfectly when you guys got to the rope. 456 was the leader, with Sang-woo behind him and Ali in the back. Very dependable people. Though you had your doubts, if the old man was right, you could win!
The gun went off. The only thing you could do was follow the old man's instructions with the rest of the team.
Minutes into the match, your hands became cut by the rope. But you moved on.
Everything was going well, until your team's strength was wearing out...
Sang-woo shook his head. "Everyone! Listen to me, "said 218. Your head sprung up and looked at him, still tugging. "When I give the sign," he continued, "take three steps ahead of you!" The woman with curly hair yelled, "Are you insane? I'm not doing that!"
Sang-woo sighed. "Just trust me and they'll fall!" 218 yelled back. "Agh no!" The woman replied. "We have to give it a try! It's the only chance we have!" Said 456, backing up Sang-woo. Sang-woo went on, "I'll count to three! One! Two! Three!" You all ran up.
456 ran so far, he almost fell off the tower, but with his signal, you all ran back to your spots, baffling the other team.
The other team fell! You won!" You looked at Sang-woo as you fell back from the pressure of your grip. You're alive, because of him and the old man. My lord.
