Jaechan hastily got out of her car and locked it as she walked into her porch.
Namjoon’s gonna kill me before I even get to breathe
“Where’s the card? Where’s the damn card?” she mumbled as she rummaged through her purse to search for her house card. Once she found it, she wasted no time to scan it and opened the door.

Jaechan sighed in relief when she didn’t see Namjoon anywhere in the living room. She wore her house slippers and walked to the stairs. “Where the hell have you been?”
Speak of the devil..
“I.. I was at Yoongi’s” she replied while looking down at her slippers. “Yoongi? As in CEO Min?” he asked with his hands folded in front of his chest. Jaechan nodded, still not looking up. Namjoon sighed and massaged his temples. Jaechan thought he was just relieved that she’s safe… but no. “Namjoon-” she got cut off as he screamed, “WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU EMBARRASS ME LIKE THAT?!”

Jaechan flinched and backed away as Namjoon walked towards her. “Do you know you can’t just go on and be friends with my business partner?! If you do something wrong it could affect the stock prices! Have you ever thought of that?!” he yelled and put his palms on the wall, trapping her in between, receiving a yelp from her. “No, you never do! Why? Well that’s because you’re stupid! You do reckless things and they all don’t benefit anyone! Jaechan, tell me what the fvck is wrong with you?! Can’t you just sit still at home? Do something productive! Clean the house, cook something healthy, why the fvck do you always interfere in my work?!” he yelled, getting angrier by the second.

“I can’t believe my parents set me up with you. Did they even do a background check?! If you think I’ll feel the same way you feel with me, then you’re wrong! Fvcking wrong! I’ll never fall for someone like you. You're just good for nothing. You’re stupid, you’re selfish and you’re annoying me out of my sanity! Can’t you just get out of my life? Let’s have divorce, that’s all I ever need! I don’t care if Namhyuk feels satisfied. I can just get a new wife! Someone not you-” he got cut off as he felt a big impact on his left cheek.

Slowly, his palm touched the painful area and he finally focused on her teary eyes. “You-” just as he was about to yell again, he realized what he did wrong. “If I was embarrassing you, then it should've stayed on that topic! What do my feelings have to do with this?” she asked and a tear rolled down her cheek. “Jaechan..” Namjoon raised a hand to wipe it off, but she pushed it away. “You’re a monster! You’re a bastard! Falling for you was the worst mistake of my life! You want a divorce? Fine! Let’s get a divorce ASAP. I don’t want to see you ever again! Live a good life with someone else. This marriage wasn’t meant to last anyway” she said and pushed him away by his chest before she made her way up the stairs.

“Jaechan, wait” he called out and followed her upstairs. “Jaechan, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean what I said, really” he said and held her wrist. “Let go of me! What do you mean you 'didn’t mean it'?! It was obviously what you’ve been feeling all this time! Stop avoiding the truth!” she yelled and held the guest room’s door knob. “Jaechan, wait” Namjoon pleaded and she turned around, “What?!” she snapped. He stayed silent for a while. “Stay with me” he said slowly and looked at their hands. It didn’t feel right how he's holding onto her, so he intertwined their fingers and softly smiled.

However, his smile faded when she pushed his hand away and closed the door.
Did I lose her?
Namjoon sighed and leaned against the wall. “Jaechan..” he called out, but as he expected, there wasn’t a response. “You don’t have to respond.. Because I know you don’t want to.. All I need is for you to listen, okay?”. Silence. He sighed, contemplating whether he should keep talking or just give up and sleep.
I should keep talking
