Jack's Little Sister

Part Nine

It had been a few hours now and I had done all the jobs I needed to do. I went to my work area to get my phone and I picked it up to see I got a message from the estate agent I had been talking too recently. I had been to view a few apartments over the past few weeks and I had loved a certain one. I told the estate agent to keep me updated on the apartment I want and when id be able to get it if I could.

Estate agent : good afternoon miss grealish,
I'm sure you'd be delighted to know that the apartment you have had your eye on is now available and you would be able to move in within the next week if you make your first payment by thursday afternoon. If you have any questions please message or email me back when you seen this.

Millie : hello, thank you for your message and yes I would love the apartment I will be able to make the first payment in the next couple of days.

I was so so so excited to receive this text. I went straight to Jodie to tell her the good news and she shared my excitement with me and then I went to tell jack. I was kind of sad about moving out of the house I shared with Jack as I had lived with him for years. When I was 16 out mum became really ill and jack took me to go live with him whilst mum could get better and I loved it so much that I ended up staying. Of course I still went home every couple of weeks to see my mum and dad just like jack did.

I walked into the changing room and seen jack talking to the lads. "Jack can I talk to you for a second?" I asked him. He looked abit concerned like something was up but he just said bye to the lads and followed me out of the changing room. "What's up mill?" He asked.

"You know how I was looking at that apartment about 15 minutes away from your house" i said. "Yea?" He replied. "I got it" I said excitedly. "REALLY?". "YEAH" I said and he hugged me. "Awh that's amazing mills, so when are you moving in" he asked. "Sometime this week if I can get all my stuff moved" I said. "Well I can help you if you want"

We talked more about me moving as we walked out to our cars then we both drove home and met each other back at the house. Happy was an understatement for how I was feeling right now. I got out of the car and went straight into the house and to my bedroom to call grace. I not only wanted to tell her about the moving situation but she also hadn't stopped asking me why she had to tell jack I stayed at hers last night when I didn't stay at hers.

I sat down on my bed and rang her.

Grace : "Heyy mill"
Millie : "Heyy guess what grace"
Grace : "woah someone sounds very happy"
Millie : "I am I GOT THE APARTMENT"

Grace screamed down the phone in excitement as she was so happy for me.

Grace : "omg mill that's so exciting"
Millie : "I know I can't wipe the smile off my face"
Grace : "I'm willing to celebrate more with you later but now"

I knew what she wanted to hear.

Grace : "where the fuck was you last night"
Millie : "well um" I lowered my tone making sure jack didn't hear me.
Millie : "I was at phils"
Grace : "phils? As in the phil I caught you kissing last week"
Millie : "yes that phil and I weren't kissing him he kissed me"
Grace : "same thing, and why was you at phils?"
Millie : "well I um...I slept with him"
Grace : "WHAT"
Millie : "I know I know it just we was meant to be working and when he heard me talking about the kiss on the phone to Jodie and I may or may not have said I enjoyed it"
Grace : "and?"
Millie : "and then one thing lead to another and we just ended up having sex"
Grace : "hmm"
Millie : "what? It's not like I planned it, it just happened"

I ended stations on the phone to grace for 2 hours when I realised the time. It was 10pm and I still had I was no working tomorrow so I wanted to use the day to plan my move. I said bye to grace and got changed then I went to bed.
