Part Eighteen

The next day

It was my first day back at work since me an phil became official. I was nervous cause I knew phil had already been back before me and so he's probably told everyone. It wasn't a secret at all but I was still nervous. I arrived at work and made my way into the building.

As I did every time I arrived and I went to jodie first for our little morning chat. "Heyyy" she said said as I walked up to her. "Morning!" I replied. "So how ya been?" She asked. "Great and I also have news" I replied. "Go on then" she said. "I'm phils girlfriend" I said lowering my tone slightly. "OMG AHHH" she said screamed running over and hugging me as I hugged her back shushing her at the same time.

"so that's why all the boys were winding up phil this morning" she said. "What?". "Yeah I didn't catch what he said but phil said something then all the boys were teasing him about it for ages" she said. "Oh great can't imagine what they'll be like when they see me" I said and Jodie started laughing. I spoke to her about what happened and then I had to start working.

"Mill I know your gonna hate me for this" I heard Jodie say which meant she was about to tell me something bad. "ugh what is it" I said. "I need you to go in the boys training room and give them all these forms that they need to sign" she said. I rolled my eyes and she laughed and then I picked the papers up and walked out. I weren't complaining about the job I was just dreading seeing the boys especially all together at once.

I walked in and the loud noise coming from them all quietened down a little bit when they heard the door open and they all looked at me.
"ayee mills here" mason said
"awh phil I think someone is here to see you" I heard jesse shout
"Wait so are we supposed to know you as jacks sister or phils girl now?" kyle said.

"Or millie you know my actual name" I said sarcastically and they all laughed. I put the papers down on the table and told them all they need to take the ones with their names on. They all listened to me then when i finished talking they went back to doing what they were doing before. After I put them down I looked up an seen phil. I just smiled at him and he did a flirty smile back and winked and I just shook my head and laughed.

No one noticed because they were all busy chatting to each other. Then I walked out of the room and back to my work space. I felt like i could never get him off my mind. I was trying to concentrate on my work but i would randomly start smiling at the thought of him. This definitely showed and I could tell by the way Jodie asked me what I was smiling about.

I got on with work for the rest of the day when I finished my shift. I walked out of my office and I seen jack talking to raheem or 'raz' as the boys would call him. He seen me walk out of the office and looked like he finished his conversation with raheem and started walking towards me. I hadn't spoke to him since I made it official with phil and I was kind of nervous.

"Alright mills" he said as he did every time he seen me. "Heyy" I said. "Well congrats" he said and I looked at him. "What" I asked him. "I know you and Phil are together he was talking about it before" he said. Awhh phil was talking about me I thought to myself. "Thanks but we're not married we're just together" I said. "Ugh shut up" he said jokingly and I laughed. "No I am actually happy for you tho" he said. "Thank you jack" i said as he put his arm around me hugging me. We talked for abit longer then we both left and I went back to my place.

Once I was back home I just decided to clean around abit and then sit down and scroll through my phone. I was scrolling thought instagram when I got a notification from phil.

Phil : heyy :)
Millie : hello stranger
Phil : miss you
Millie : phil it's been approximately 1 hour and 43 mins since u last seen me
Phil : sorry am I not allowed to miss my own girlfriend?

I was just about to message phil back when I got an incoming FaceTime call from phil. I answered it straight away and seen him with a bright smile on the other end of the phone. "What's got you all smiley" I said. "No one in particular" he replied and I giggled. We talked on the phone for ages talking about many different random things.

What ever he said he made me laugh or smile and I felt safe hearing his voice. I felt happy. We had been talking for what felt like hours and then I looked at my phone screen and we had been on the phone for 2 and a half hours and it was now 10pm.

"Phil it's late now and I need to wash my hair so I'm gonna go" I said. "okay but before you got you free tomorrow?" he said. "Yes I am indeed" I replied. "Good we can go out for the day anywhere you want then come back to my place" he said. "Sounds good to me I'll message you in the morning then" I said. "Ok night princess" he said. "Night handsome" I replied and we ended the call.
