WESTON LOCKE

The sunlight hits my eyes as I gently crack them open, my hand was tightly entwined with Micah's as he sleeps peacefully next to me. I sigh silently and admire him for a moment, sliding my body in closer and slipping my arms around his body.

Pressing a kiss to the tip of his bare shoulder, watching as he stirs quietly. I purse my lips and scold myself for waking him but I couldn't help not touching him, not when he was laying right beside me.

Micah stretches out and rolls over towards me, his eyes opening slowly. The second he sees me his mouth stretches out into a wide smile. "Hi," he says groggily.

"Hi," I respond, clutching my arm around the side of his head and pulling me into my chest.

"I feel so happy waking up beside you again," he mumbles into my chest and I exhale a deep breath.

"Me too," I agree. "I've missed seeing your gorgeous face in the morning, it's just what I need."

Micah's mouth opens into a grin as he nuzzles himself further into my neck. "Stop it," he murmurs against me.

"You don't like my compliments?" I question as I push back his brown curly hair and kiss the edge of his forehead.

"I love them," he admits. "It's just far too early for them."

My lips pass a chuckle. "Never too early to compliment my handsome boyfriend," I whisper into his ear.

Micah shakes his head and laughs into my chest. "I should have expected that one, huh?"

"Most definitely," I tell him.

He removes himself from my chest and leans his head onto the pillow beside me, both of us looking back at each other.

"What's your plans for today?" He questions me as he flicks his eyes between mine.

"I've got to call Fred later about somethings, I want to spend as much time with you as possible." I say gently as I run my fingers through his hair again.

"Me too," he nods. "I already miss you."

My lips curve into a small frown. "Don't say that."

"It's true," he says. "I hate not knowing whe--"

Micah stops talking when his phone vibrates over and over on the nightstand. He furrows his eyebrows towards me and rolls over to grab his phone from the side, then his glasses and looking at the screen.

"Who is it?" I question curiously.

I watch him carefully as his eyes roam over the messages. "It's an unknown number," he speaks before his phone continues to vibrate, his facial expressions changing within a second. "What the fuck?"

Clasping his wrist between my hands and rotating the phone towards me.

Unknown Number

You've made a mistake

You're going to have to live with this for the rest of your life

He isn't who he says he is

You better watch out for when he leaves you

You shouldn't think you're special

Because you're not

You're just another number

A low growl leaves my lips as I take the phone from his hands and sit up further in the bed, feeling my hand vibrate as more and more messages come flooded in.
