It corrupts my soul with a feeling I can't define.
The flames dance before me.
Beauty so divine.
Can't you see? Can't you see?!
Can't you see that fire?
It makes me giddy with pleasure
as the flame climbs higher.
And perhaps I should be cautious,
maybe
back away
but the light draws me closer
and I am not afraid.
I should be.
You are
but my mind is reeling.
I cannot fight this feeling.
I want it all to burn.
This fascination
with the danger
but I do admit it hurts--
But the wonder.
Oh the wonder!
I don't care about the pain!
I, am the light in the darkness.
I, dance like the flames
And I let the divine consume me.
My mind fills with delight.
I am the one being blackened.
I am the beauty tonght.
