Shorts

This might sound stupid but to me I feel like crying because of this. Basically my sometimes-overprotective-but-only-when-I'm-really-happy-about-something dad isn't letting me wear shorts to school. He agreed to let me wear them at home and in summer where I'll see the exact same people who go to my school. At least that's what my mom said that he said to her when she said I got shorts. I've never worn shorts before and I was excited for nothing. Ever since thanksgiving break my life has lacked normalcy and this could have been it but it's not. I had my hopes up and now I'm completely let down. My dads logic fails to impress me. I'm really pissed off right now and insanely emotional. I'm done with leggings and skirts with leggings and jeans. I'm done.
