New Kitten

Where Rye has been begging Andy, his husband, for a kitten for so long, will he get one, read on to see.

(Third person POV)
"Rye baby I'm going to the shops, is there anything you want?" Andy asked coming into their bedroom. Rye and Andy have been a couple for 4 years and they are recently married now, the wedding was small but beautiful and all their family and friends came. Anyway, they took it upon themselves to get a new apartment for them, which they have lived in for about a month now.
"Yeah we need some milk and bread and a kitten we need a kitten too, preferably a white one with black patches that is so cuddly and cute, that's all." Rye said smiling.
Andy laughed at his husband, ever since that program they watched about these tiny felines Rye has been determined to get one. And Andy thought that today was the perfect day to surprise him.
"They don't sell kittens at the supermarket Rye." Andy chuckled.
"Mmm but I want one." Rye whined.
"I know darling I know. I'll see you later baby ok. Dont be sad I love you." Andy said coming closer as he stroked his cheek making him smile.
"I love you too, my beautiful husband." Rye said and kissed Andy passionately and Andy pecked his lips for the last time and smiled at him before grabbing his keys and getting in his car driving off.
Hmm yes they dont sell kittens in the supermarket, but they do sell them at the rescue centre just down the road which Rye doesn't know about. Andy had set this up over a week ago. Calling up the rescue centre and booking a time so he could get a few things from the supermarket before picking a kitten and buying it.
He went to the supermarket, parked up and did a quick round getting the essentials before driving to the centre. He walked in and said his name to the girl behind the desk.

"Oh right yes this way, you are having one kitten right?" She asks.
"Yes and I'm taking the kitten today." Andy said and she nodded. Bringing him to a door and opening it to revel so many kittens all different colours mowing and playing with each other or with the toys that were present.
"Aww they are adorable." Andy said walking in and looking at the kittens. He kneels down and started stroking the kittens that were around his feet. He was looking around for a kitten that matched the description Rye wanted. And then a kitten came up to him and stroked his legs, it was a white one with black patches the perfect one. Andy picked it up and he smiling looking at the kitten as it mowed to him.
"I want this one." Andy said.
"Oh great choice sir why dont we come through this way and we can write the papers." The women said and Andy nodded walking through and sitting on the chair putting the kitten down on his lap as he signed the papers. He then took the kitten and went to the boot of his car taking out the plastic carrier and putting the kitten into it gently. Putting the carrier on the passenger seat and drove home.

When Andy got there he parked and took the bags into the house making the decision to leave the kitten for a few seconds to surprise Rye.
"Ryee could you help me with the bags?" Andy shouted through the house once he saw Rye wasnt downstairs.
"Coming babe." Rye said coming down the stairs and into the kitchen them both taking the products out of the bags.
"Oh I forgot, I have one more bag in the car." Andy said and getting his car keys again to pretend to unlock it. Andy quickly got the kitten out of the car and locking it for real this time.
"Another bag why did you buy so much stuff Andy?" Rye said from the kitchen as Andy quietly opened the door again, Rye with his back to him unloading the products into the fridge.
"Because we wanted a new member of the family." I said and the kitten meowed in the carrier making Rye turn around. He looked at the carrier and his eyes went wide he walked to the carrier and looked into it.
"Oh no you did not." Rye said surprised as he hurried to open the carrier door and when he did he took the small kitten out if it. Holding it up in the air. I smiled and took a picture.
"Do you like her?" I asked smiling.
"Oh my god she is so beautiful I really love her." Rye said and kept kissing her little body and head as Andy put down the carrier and came to join them, holding the little kittens tiny paw.
"And I love you mister come here." Rye said placing his hand on Andy's cheek and kissing him deeply.
