Skyler's pov
After the class was over I went to my next class and brownie was hurrying over to me with an excited expression and I wondered for the reason.
Then she told me all about the new guy's details she heard and it was getting hard for me to digest that info as he might be my dream guy.
"This isn't good, how can you be excited over this ?!", she replied with a smirk " girl you got yourself involved with two of the most popular guys in our school, of course, is worth getting excited about. "
After the lecturer came in, everyone quieted down and started doing their incomplete work as the lecturer asked them to submit it by the end of the class
I was almost done and just left some minor details to d o in class as I know we will be given ti rme and I will be bored if I complete d it before also there is this unders tanding of submitting at the same time...like in the ending half an hour of class.
We kept chatting and doing our respective works suddenly my sketchbook was snatched from my hands and I didn't try to hold on to it as it might tear the pages; I didn't want to risk it and I was angry at the intruder and raised my head and I saw some Queen bitch standing in front of me, I was confused and asked: "what is your freaking problem ?" She replied with a smirk " wow! I didn't know that you care so much about your work considering your way of getting things done."
I was irritated with her beating around the bush or in this case around my sketchbook and replied in an annoyed tone " my way is studying and working hard on projects, whereas I am not sure if yours familiar with that kind of doing things", her smirk was immediately gone and she fumed with anger and replied, " bitch, I don't flirt with every guy I see unlike you", I replied with a smirk " of course, you only choose the richest among them ", She was at a loss of words and angrily shrieked raising her voice "stay away from Damon, he is mine and is disgusted with the likes of golddiggers like you, be careful... next time I won't leave you with just a warning ", I asked " Reall then why was he showing so much interest in me? And I didn't know that he likes power-hungry wolves, that was why I was flirting with him."
Then the lecturer intervened saying " detention for Kayla ", I smirked hearing this and she stumped her legs and went to her chair.

During lunch, I and Brownie went and sat at our usual table, then suddenly Damon appeared and asked " have I caused you any trouble ?" and I replied with " yeah by coming here ", he gave me an unimpressed look "Fine, it was no big deal, I could handle those little bitches ", he gave a weird look, then nodded his head and he was gone.
As I want to unfold the mystery of the rings, I think I should go easy on him, for him to be willing to answer me. So, after lunch, I went to my next class which I know Damon also has. I went to his table pulled a chair and sat down. He was startled by my sudden appearance and I started with a polite smile and said "we should become friends, what do you think?" He said "sure, why not baby girl", " should I reconsider ?"
He laughed and replied, "you will not regret it.", "I sure hope so".
I thought, maybe becoming Friends with both of them will be the first step, because the ring looks important and I don't think he will just say me about it if I just ask and I will end up getting suspected of bad intentions too. I mean why should a total stranger try to dig about his ring?!
So, I casually said "nice ring you got there"
"It's very special" with a distant look in his eye
"From whom?"
He smirked, "Why? Don't worry, it's not from my girlfriend or fiancé, currently, that position is vacant, you can try if you want"
"Maybe taking down a notch of your flirting might be the gift you give me for the starting of this new friendship"
"Your no fun"
"Did you notice that the new guy in our school also has the same ring as you?" as I said this the colour drained from his face and the next instant he put on a poker face and said " it's probably a fake one, and I didn't know you were so observant " with that smirk again
I thought to myself, 'does his mouth not ache from so much smirking?' and Elena replied 'ask and find out' sent her a look that said that her humour is not appreciated.

After the class was over, I went into the restroom and a hand suddenly yanked me into a stall, before I could let out a surprised yelp, a hand covered my mouth. The person behind me hissed " what a slut, first you wanted to bump into me; to get my attention and next I see you flirting with the vampire boy. Why? are you so desperate for attention?"
I realized he was the new guy and was shocked at his words.
I wanted to speak, tell him who was in charge here and he could stick his assumptions where the sun doesn't shine. But alas his hand wasn't bulging.
"You want attention right ? Or is it that two timing turns you on bitch? What is it?"
With that he starts kissing my neck and all i could do was stand still in shock 'omg! This isnt happening' with that elena took control and tried to free from his hold
"Stay away from him, or you have to face the consequences princess" With that, he went out at lightning speed. It felt so surreal that I was wondering if I just imagined it. But the proof is right here on my neck.
What the heck? Do they hate each other or have some kind of enemity?
I went out and was still not sure of what has just happened.
Then i went home with brownie and started doing my daily routine.
