♡you meet them pt.2♡

You worked as a local medic, helping those who where harmed in demon attacks and helping demon slayers who fought said demons, you where quite tranquil and quiet, never bothered by the scent of blood or the look of gore, ever since you where a child you loved helping those who couldn't help themselves. So that's why you became a medic, the thoughts that ran through your mind stayed fresh as you heard the thunderstorm raging outside.

Your internal monolog being the only source of entertainment you had right now, suddenly a  pitiful knock on your door was heard, curious, you opened it. Only to see a bloody and bruised man wearing a haori that was split into two different sections, alarmed by the sudden visit you let him in, concerned for his well being.

"Oh my...come in please, sit on that chair over there, I'll help you in a moment."

The man did as told, plopping down on the chair. his hair was soaked, causing it to fall over his face like moss on a log, but through the raven black strands you could still see his eyes. They where such a pretty blue but at the same time, so dull...like you where swimming in deep water while looking into them.

you snapped outta your daze quickly, ushering giving him a towel to dry off with before you started tending to his wounds you. Afterwards you had decided to dry his clothes, aswell as stitch it up abit since it was ripped on the red split, you gave him an extra pair of clothes, hoping your brother didn't mind, there wasn't alot of talking while you dried and stitched his haori, it wasn't really needed...it was, calm. After you where done you looked up at the man.

"The storm will probably be too dangerous for you to explore and get back home in. I have an extra bedroom, if you want you can sleep in there?"

"Okay. Thank you for your hospitality...."

"(Y-n) (l-n)."

He nodded, bowing once before entering said guest room,

You where sleeping soundly, your body relaxed and your mind filled with sweet dreams, the mood completely changed suddenly, it was cold in your room now. You slowly opened your eyes, about to sit up, only to have two arms wrap around you, dragging you into the ground,

"MpH?!"

Your body plummeted down into this sluggish like hell, thrashing and kicking with all your might to no avail, you where scared, was this the thing that had been kidnapping those sixteen year olds in your town??
none of the people that had gone missing had been found yet, and you didn't wanna be on that list!

Just when you thought hope was lost, suddenly, a katana stabbed its way into the demon that was holding you in place, causing it to let go and for you to be freed, how? You don't even know. You ended up passing out once you made it to the surface, the fear and adrenaline consuming your being.

You eventually woke up with a start, glancing around, you where in a random guys arms, a girl around your age with long hair and a bamboo muzzle standing infront of you, one of her delicate hands placed on your cheek...it was comforting...

You walked along the snowy path, swaying side to side with heavy eyelids...your body slashed and bleeding...how did this happen? Where did it all go wrong? The stinging in your legs just got worse as you continued walking in the cold winter. The heaviness not only in your eyelids, but your heart aswell. You ended up collapsing, landing face first into the ground...it hurt, everything hurt. But you didn't wanna give up, not yet...suddenly, a harsh wind flew past you, two fancy looking shoes now infront of you

"Huh...?"

You looked up, your nose running and ears red from the cold. Frostbite starting to form on your delicate body

"You poor thing, left to die and rot in the cold forest...all alone."

You saw a handsome man stand infront of you, his black hair making a nice contrast to his pale skin, but his eyes... they seemed kind first glance. But you could tell it held malice in them. He suddenly knelt down next to you, lifting your head up.

"I will fix you...don't worry."

And with such wording, he placed a hand on your cheek. The world fading to a not so comforting black.
