Chapter 4: Teamwork

Y/N POV

Mando had made a good decision hiding behind some cover, but it wouldn't hold for much longer and soon he would be exposed again. You and Fennec continued shooting at Mando's cover. Eventually it busted and the crate was thrown aside. The only look you and Fennec showed on your faces was confusion. There was no one behind the crate. You then heard a gun cock. You spun around to only face your captor pointing a blaster at you and Fennec. "That was a nice plan but, hide and seek is over now." Mando says looking at both of you. You saw Fennec slowly pulling something out of the bottom of her sniper. Immediately you grinned a little. She then flung the knife she pulled out of the sniper at Mando hitting the same spot that the bullet hit earlier. you then get up. The moment he saw you up he threw a punch at you. You caught it and slid under Mando's legs planting your feet on his back, causing Mando to fall to the ground. "Come on!" You yell to Fennec. You and Fennec start running. "My ship isn't too far from here!" Fennec yells back as we run. Surprisingly Mando wasn't chasing you! did you knock him out black? You thought for a moment but found no reason why he wouldn't chase after his bounty. After about 5 minutes of running through the sand you made it to Fennec's ship. There was no time for you to admire the colours or design of the ship you ran in with Fennec and immediately went straight to the cockpit. Fennec clicked a few buttons and flung the lever forward causing the ship to lift off of the ground and go into space. Fennec seemed a little more relaxed now that you were both in space but it didn't last for long. 

you soon found out Mando wasn't chasing you because he must've heard Fennec say her ship wasn't far. He was in the Razor Crest chasing us! "Don't worry he will never get us once we go into hyperspace" Fennec practically yells. She hit the lever for hyperspace forward but the ship didn't do anything. "Kriff it must have gotten damaged!" Fennec yells. 

Mando's POV

I managed to use my jet pack to get up the cliff, it wasn't long until my hiding spot was blasted out of the way thank God I found this route I think to myself. When I got up I saw Y/N and Fennec both lying on the ground. The look on their faces was priceless. The look of confusion. I cocked my gun to announce my arrival. Y/N was the first to turn, followed by Fennec. I let a cocky comment slip out of my mouth before attempting to grab my bounty. Before I could lay a finger on Y/N, Fennec threw a small knife at my weak shoulder! It hurt but I tried not to groan, it was a sign of weakness. When I looked away from my badly wounded shoulder Y/N was just getting up, I couldn't let my bounty get away! I threw a punch at her hoping it would knock her out, but it didn't she caught it, slid under me, and kicked my back causing me to fall to the ground and knocking the air out of me. I heard Fennec yell something in the distance as they were both running, it was something about her ship being close! At this moment I had my plan. 

I ran as quickly as I could back to the Razor Crest, all the sand made it harder and harder to reach my destination, but I didn't let that stop me. When I finally reached the Razor Crest parked by Jabba's Palace I hopped in hoping I could cut Fennec and Y/N off. I took of into space carefully controlling each button and lever I pressed on, and there they were. For some reason they weren't jumping into hyperspace! This was questionable but I decided to continue with my plan.

I brought my ship just above theirs.

Y/N POV

You and Fennec immediately saw what Mando's plan was. He was boarding the ship! From this point there was nothing you could do but fight him. Fennec seemed ready, but this guy has been chasing you for weeks you knew how strong he could be. "So you want the bad news or the really bad news?" Fennec asks you. "How about the bad news first" you respond " Mando is going to board the ship" she said. You knew this already yet you thought it would be the really bad news. "And the really bad news?" You ask a little hesitantly. " We're running low of fuel." Kriff you mutter. "Y/N I'll try and secure the ship, you deal with Mando." Fennec yells. You nod in agreement and get in your fight stance. You were usually very fearless, but there was just something about Mando that made you want to purposely lose to spend time with him. You shook your head in a desperate attempt to get him out of your head, but how could you? Especially when you were going to face him in a few seconds!

Thank you so much for reading, it really means a lot to me. I was thinking of making an Anakin from clone wars watches Vader vs Ahsoka I thought that would be cool but imma finish dis book first then make a start on a new one.
