Oh boy did Uraraka regret it. Bakugou spent the next few hours working on hand to hand and then Magic with hand to hand. HOURS! Bakugou was seriously kicking her ass. Everytime she thought she had a sliver of a chance, he was too fast for her or too strong.

"Am I still a 'weak ass nerd', Uraraka?" Bakugou growled at her while he had her pinned to the ground. She blushed as a shiver rolled down her spine.

"Come on bro! We've been at this all day and you've been going all out on her. Give it a break." Kiri said.

"Shove it Shitty Hair! She can take it, she's not some fragile maiden." He finally took that moment to get up. He even offered Uraraka his hand.

"Thanks." She said sheepishly. "Kiri, I want you guys to go all out, if you don't I won't understand what I'm up against in the tournament. And Bakugou's right, I'm not fragile." She brushed dirt off her clothes and went for some water.

Mina walked with her to get a drink. It was now the afternoon. And the sun was shining brightly on them. "Is there ever gloomy weather up here?" Uraraka asked.

"No. We do get rain, but it's usually still bright out. Makes for some really pretty rainbows." Mina replied.

"What about thunderstorms? Lightning and everything? Or snow?"

"We get those storms sometimes, but those usually come with Kitsune. So I guess you'd say it's pretty rare. And we do get some snow. It's pretty and a nice treat when it happens."

"Oh wow. That's interesting. Do they make it storm for fun?"

"Oh absolutely. They play jokes on the Fae and sometimes the Gods if they feel like it. But I wouldn't recommend finding one as a Mortal, they aren't very kind to Mortals."

"Oh... Will they be at the tournament?"

"I think so. It would be a waste if they weren't. They have really strong magic and because they keep mostly to themselves, we don't know much about them."

"They all have different magic right?"

"Yeah, as far as I know."

"Oi! Breaks over! Let's get back to training!" Bakugou yelled at the two.

Something occured to Uraraka that hadn't earlier, "Hey Bakugou, why aren't you patrolling today?"

"Tch. I let Deku take over so I could train your weak ass."

"Oh wow so nice of you Bakugou." Uraraka said sarcastically. Punctuating it with an eye roll.

"Don't forget Cheeks, you asked for my help."

"That I did Bakugou, but I didn't expect nonstop training all day every day until the tournament."

"I don't do anything half assed. That includes training you."

"Okay, but we will need to break for food and sleep and stuff."

"Yes, but it's not time yet so get your ass moving!"

"Well, we've actually had enough for the day Bakubro and we need to patrol. So we're heading out. Have fun. Please don't kill Uraraka, we like her." Kiri interjected.

Mina nodded in agreement.

"Fine. Go." Bakugou said.

"Bye guys!" Uraraka said.

She walked over to the Bakugou and waited for him to tell her what torturous thing they were doing next.

"So what's next?" Uraraka asked.

"Strength training." Bakugou said.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Don't make me repeat myself."

Uraraka waited for further instructions and, begrudgingly, did strength training with Bakugou.

At some point during their training, the cape came off. Uraraka assumed it was because he was hot. She herself, was drenched in sweat. Her body was exhausted and she needed a break.

"Bakugou! Can we take a break please?" Uraraka asked.

"Why?" He replied.

"I'm so exhausted, I feel like I might fall over."

He let out his signature, "Tch. Fine."

"Thank you!" Uraraka promptly laid in the ground gasping for air hoping she could cool down.

She heard Bakugou sit down next to her.

"So, you do get warm then?" Uraraka asked quietly.

"Of course! What kind of dumb question is that? I thought we already established that gods can get cold so obviously we can get hot too." Bakugou grumbled.

"You're so grumpy. I was just thinking aloud since the cape didn't come off until just now and we've been at this for hours."

"I just wanted to keep it on. And then I got too hot, okay?"

"Okay."

"Have you always noticed what I wear?"

"Of course. We live together Bakugou I obviously notice what you wear and what you refuse to wear."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You literally never wear a shirt. Just the cape. It's so strange. I don't get it."

"I don't like shirts. They're constricting. The cape at least keeps me comfortable."

"Hm... Interesting. But since you do wear it almost all the time, it's hard to not take notice when it's off."

He turned and smirked at her. "And what do you think about when it is off?"

Immediately she started to to blush, but in the most controlled manner she could muster she told him, "That it's... clearly hot." Leaving it to his interpretation. Her's being that he was clearly hot, but he didn't need to know that.

"Tch. I don't get you."

"What do you mean?"

"You're a fucking flustered mess most of the time and other times you're... I don't know, fierce?"

"I just have a wide range of emotions, unlike you, who probably deep deep deep down has them, but only mainly shows rage."

"Tch, I'm passionate and it comes off as rage."

"Hm... Passionate? I don't know about that, but I guess I'll take your word for it."

"Alright, we're done resting. Get up, we're training some more."

Uraraka painstakingly got to her feet. She was already sore.

By the time evening came, Uraraka felt so exhausted. Her body hurt, she had bruises pretty much all over, and she hadn't excelled at any of the things they did that day. She was frustrated.

Bakugou and Uraraka walked back in silence and found a feast set out for them when they got home. Mitsuki left a note:
"For my warrior princess and my brat of a son. Eat up and then rest.
-Mitsuki"

"Your mom is so sweet." Uraraka said as she sank into a chair and started grabbing food.

"Yeah sure. When she's talking to you maybe." Bakugou replied doing the same.

"She cares about you a lot. I can tell. But I get that you don't see it."

Bakugou didn't respond.

They ate in silence and then when they were full they left the dining room and headed to their own rooms.

Once at her door Uraraka turned to Bakugou, "Night Bakugou."

"Night Cheeks." He said and opened his door.

Uraraka entered her room and practically face planted into the bed. She was exhausted. She peeled herself off of her bed just to change into her nightgown. After that she crawled under the covers and let sleep take her.
