"Woodsboro, California was devastated last night, two young teenagers were found brutally murdered. Authorities have yet to
issued a statement but our sources tell us that no arrests are yet to be made and the murderer could strike again."

I was just walking on my way inside the school when I saw a few reporters reporting in front of our school, including Gale Weathers, the journalist. Everyone seems to be talking about what the hell happened, — I even have no idea why there are reporters everywhere — including Tatum and Sidney.

"Hi," I walked up behind Tatum. Both of them flinched.

"Jesus, Jennifer!" Tatum reacted.

"Calm down, Mom," I teased Tatum. "You and my mother react the same way whenever I scare the both of you. You have some psychic link with her or something?"

"Casey Becker and Steve Orith were killed last night," Tatum informed.

"What? No way," Said Sid, shocked to find out that Casey Becker and Steve Orth were murdered last night. I guess I'm not the only one who have no idea about what's happening.

"Were not just talking killed were talking splatter movie killed. Ripped open from end to end." Tatum spoke again.

"Oh," I said, finally knowing what's the fuzz all about. "Too bad to be them, I guess."

"Casey Becker? She sits next to me in English," Sidney said.

"Well, that's too bad because you guys don't breathe in the same air anymore," I responded.

"I know right," Said Tatum, agreeing to what I said. "It's so sad, her mom and dad, they found her hanging from a tree with her insides on the outside."

"Ew, fuck," I reacted.

"Yeah, their interrogating the entire school," Tatum said while the three of us are walking and passing by a few reporters and students.

"They think it's school related?" Sidney asked, turning her head to look at Tatum, who's in the middle of us.

"They're fucking clueless, I mean, Dewey said it's the worst crime here, since... well, it's bad," Tatum didn't continue what she's gonna say. She almost said about the murder of Sidney's mother, Maureen Prescott. She don't want to mention that, specially not in front of Sidney.

"Well, the one who did it must be an expert at killing," I guessed. "Or the police are just stupid."

The three of us walked off into the school main doors. We separated ways and entered our class — well, not really separating, because Tatum and I share the same class in our first period. It was just Sidney who separated ways.

We spent the entire class waiting for our turn, because we are getting interrogated. The other students still can't believe that Casey Becker was now dead, including Sidney.

I waited until it is my turn to be interrogated. A student entered the room and handed some piece of paper to the teacher. The teacher looked at it to read it, then transferred her look at me.

"Jennifer Pierce, it appears to be your turn," The teacher said.

I grabbed my bag and stood up from my chair. The next thing I know was I was in the principle's office with Mr. Himbry and a few sheriffs, including Dewey, Tatum's older brother. They were looking at me. One of the sheriffs was holding a interrogation paper.

"Hi, Jennifer," The sheriff greeted me.

"Hello," I greeted back. I don't want to be known as disrespectful.
