Chapter 4;
We rode in silence but not that awkward kind of silence but the comfortable type of silence.
I looked out my window to see that I had no idea where I was. I knew getting in his car was a bad idea but I was so in the moment letting my common sense fly out the window, plus I didn't want my night to end so soon.
The shooting in the club really scared me. I don't think I'll ever go back to one. A sudden sadness and dread washed over me when I realized I totally left Monica alone. I broke the girl code.
I turned to Q. "Hey, can I borrow your phone?" I asked.
He took his eyes off the road for a second to look at me and smiled. "Sure," he took one hand off the steering wheel and went inside his pocket to pull out the new iPhone 5.
What's with all these people and iPhones?
I took his phone from his hand, making my fingers brush against his and I can't even lie and say that I didn't fell a spark. He smiled at me and look back to the road.
I let out a shaky breath and started to dial Monica's phone number. I called her five times and she never picked up, I'm really regretting doing this knowing that I left her behind.
I sighed sadly, and looked back out the window.
"What's wrong, beautiful?" Q asked.
" I can't get in touch with my friend who was at the club with me." I said, as I handed him back his phone.
Q nodded his head. "Don't worry your pretty little head too much, I bet she good" he said, taking the phone back and putting it in his pocket.
I bit my bottom lip, taking in his words. But, a part of me was still worried about her.
"Yo, you hungry, beautiful?"
My stomach started to growling. "I guess that's your answer." he and I started laughing.
He pulled into the drive-thur of McDonald's. "Welcome to McDonald's how can I help you?" A girl asked.
Q rolled down his window and started to place our order. "Yeah, let me get a number one large." He turned over to me. "What you want and it better not be no salad."
I laughed. "Never, I'm a girl who likes to eat. But let me get a number eight"
He turned back order it and our drinks. Q started to drive to the first window like the girl asked him to. We rolled up to the window and the chick was eyeing Q while handing us our meal. Like, damn she was doing it right in front of my face. She didn't know me I could have been that crazy type of girlfriend who would jump out this Benz go into McDonald's and tell her to come around the counter so I could beat her ass.
She finally gave us our drinks, and from the corner of my eye I saw she slipped him something. I rolled me eyes, some females are just so disrespectful. But, I don't know why I'm getting mad. I'm not even his girl.
