The Lonely boy

~On the road/Part 1~

~Day 1~

Well... here we are... again...

It's only day one..

On a long journey...

I'm sure you could already imagine how he felt after everything had happened.
He didn't feel stable after what had happened... I mean who would? I would fear the man who sees his family die so gruesomely and still be able to walk straight..

For the time being he has to find somewhere to stay for the night and a place with some water along with food.

~Majors POV~
"Fuck... what am I gonna do?.. I guess I could stay in the woods for the night... Things are going to eventually going to escalate... without a doubt..."

I set up a small camp with the bushes around and crawled into a somewhat comfortable position.

I woke up and it was dark.

"Damn it's cold..."

I could hear sirens go off in the distance, could it be because of my fathers death? That's all I could think about... that dead look on his face...

I zoned out for a second before hearing a sound come from a bush.

"HELLO!? WHOS THERE!?"

A girls voice called out
"Don't hurt me please!

I couldn't believe it! Another person who wasn't interested in getting me! Though I was excited I still must be cautious...

"WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS?"

The girl yelled back.
"I just need somewhere safe!"

I know it's a bad idea but she could really use the help...
"Come here!"

As she approached through the small wall of branches I made I could see her through the small glistening bit of sun left.

Her eyes were brown and she had dark brown hair.
"H-Hello.. my name is Emilia..."

I was shocked at the fact she was so scared of me... I've never seen that look of fear caused by me...

"You can call me Major..."

I layed down and told her there was a spot beside me she could lay. And she did.

~Day 2~

He woke up in the morning with this girl laying beside him. It caught him off guard slightly, not too bad though.

He sat up and woke her up.
"Hey you.. wake up.."

She woke up and stared at him for a moment.
"I'm awake! Jeez! Wait... it wasn't a fucking dream?..."

He looked down and mumbled.
"Nope... anyway, I'm leaving town because of those freaks... are you coming with me?"

The girl looked shocked for a moment before nodding her head.
"Alright..."

Emilia grabbed his arm and they set off.

When they got up to majors house where his father was still laying on the floor. Emilia threw up at the sight of the deadman as he lay motionless and cold.
Major looked through all of the jacket pockets in his fathers closet and found his fathers keys.

"Well shall we get going? Do you know how to drive?" Major asked Emilia.

She nodded her head and followed as he started the car.

~Day 3~
Still driving...

Yup... on the road... still...

Almost outta gas...

Major pulled the car over to a rest stop with no other vehicles.
"Hey Emilia get up We are at a rest stop, Are you hungry?"

Emilia responded by saying.
"I'm really hungry... do you know where I can find some food...?"

Major got out of the car and walked over to the gas station.
The cashier asked.
"can I help you with anything today?"

Major walked up to the counter with a large pack of water and multiple bags of jerky.
"I think this is all, thanks.."

The cashier looked out the window and saw a crazy man running across the road.
"Fucking crack heads on the highway.. ughh.."

Major walked outside after paying and put the supplies in the back of the car. Shortly after Major slipped his fathers old lock knife into his pocket.

The crazy man saw Major and started sprinting at him.
"EMILIA LOCK THE CAR AND STAY QUIET"
Major yelled repeatedly at the man drawing his attention causing him to chase Major.
Major bolted into the store and yelled at the cashier to call the police, but when he tried there was no signal...

The lines were down...
Major grabbed a baseball bat of the shelf, pushed past the crazy man and ran for the car.

The cashier was left to deal with the crazy man, but just as Major pulled away from the gas station he turned back and went to help the cashier.

Major got out of the car and went into the store to find the cashier being eaten by the crazy man.

Major verbally murmured "Fuck it..."
Before smashing the head of the man who ate the cashier. After all was said and done he grabbed a set of radios, more jerky and cans of food.

On the way out Major topped off the gas just in case also filling a jerrycan.

Major couldn't think of a place to sleep during the night so he asked Emilia, she recommended just driving the car out into the woods and just sleeping in it away from people.

Major agreed and drove to the woods. He made a bed in the back and told her to sleep aswell because this may be the safest place to sleep for a while.
