have you been in a day, where you suddenly missing someone? a friend, a family, a certain person?
because I do.

it's an unexpected flashback moment. all the memories rushes to your vision, replaying the scenes that you went through with that person. and you might find yourself laugh, or cry, or a little bit of both.

then you start wondering,
how have they been?
how are they doing?
were they still the same to when you met last time?
are they happy?

sometimes you choose to ask, pick up your phone and search for their contact. both of you start to communicate again, like how it used to be.

but sometimes you don't, for some reasons. and maybe that's how you express your feelings, that's fine.
