Forgetting that its just a dream
I meet you with a smile
He dances away
With the quiet beats,
Only he can listen to.
Gliding across the big room,
Pouring out all his emotions
In the swift, flowing movements.
Careful and quiet,
As he sways and turns.
A single yearning, growing in his chest
"When, oh when,
Will I dance and laugh?
With joy in every step,
Would I ever feel the energy again?"
Lying down breathless,
He feels his heartbeat slow down.
Just like his hopes, of dancing,
Remain caged from the world.
"One more time", he reminds himself.
Before dancing with a smile again.
