I breakdown crying as soon as Ney sets Mara in her crib, "Why did he do this now–first he missed most of the pregnancy, second he wasn't there for the birth of OUR daughter, & now he thinks he can have his hook-ups." I whine into Ney's chest. "Nia...I don't know why this happened to you, but I will stay by your side & help with Xio as much as I can...I promised you that when I became her godfather & when you first told me about her." Ney whispers then kisses my forehead & Mara's.
I smile & look up at my ex-boyfriend, "You know I never stopped loving you...even after Juan Luis & I had Xiomara," I whisper, then rest my hand on Ney's chin, gently dragging my thumb along his bottom lip. "Nia...god, baby girl...you don't even know how bad I missed you–hell, even Caro has been asking about you." He mutters, I smile & bite my bottom lip, "Go ahead then–you known that you'll always be my first lov–"
"Aye, not with my niece in the roo–" "I knew they wouldn't last long apart from each other!!! Jordi owes 500€!! Sergi owes 200€!! Luis owes 600€!!" Gerard yells, storming into Mara's nursery. Waking her up & she starts crying, I glare at Gerard & stand up to tell him off, but Leo holds me back as Ney calms Xiomara down, "My little princess, calm down–I'm sorry your uncle is a fucker–when you get older, I'll teach you how to get on his nerves." Neymar whispers.
Xiomara calms down immediately & puts her hands up into Ney's hair, "How the hell did you get her to calm down that fast–it took me 2 weeks for her to even stop crying?" Gerard asks, he walks over & kisses my cheeks, "I just have that touch–also, she recognizes my smell." Ney explains.
"Oh–we can finally beat up Juan Luis...he slept with a random girl & we were on FaceTime when she interrupted us–safe to say he's now alone & we can kill him." Ney exclaims Mara starts making noises, "My princess–yes, you're my little princess Xio...I promise to raise you as my own & can protect you from guys like your actual Pai." He whispers to Mara–he's the only person to call her Xio, everyone else calls her by her full name or Mara–they're so cute I have a few tears run down my cheeks.
