"So... are you going to get custody of Mara??" Leo mutters, I shrug my shoulders, "I want to–but at the same time I don't want to 'take' her from Juan Luis' family...his mama, papa, sister & her cousins. Every time I think yes, I picture Xio hating me in the future because she never knew her papa's side–she might think she's Argentine-Brazilian, not Argentine-Colombian." I explain.
"Have you thought of talking to Juan Luis?" Ramos mutters, then goes on his phone, & avoids eye contact. I sit up & glare at him, "I don't trust myself around that cheating bastard–even if he's Xio's papa–he cheated on the strongest, most beautiful woman...just so he could get a nice couple of fucks. His ass is mine & I won't be alone, Gerard, Andres, Busi, Ter Stegen, & Leo will be with me." I sneer.
"How long have you been in love with Aina?" Kylian asks, I smile & blush as I think back to when I first joined Barca, Leo chuckles because he knows how long, "Since I joined Barca...back then she was an intern for their Physical Therapist...she was the first person I met at Barca. Aina was late to work & I asked her where to go to meet Bartomeu for my public announcement...she stared at me in shock & then Leo came out to get her." "They were standing there just staring at each other...I stood there & smirked because it was love at first sight...I called for Gerard & that was when they both turned to me & blushed." Leo continues, as I cover my face with my hands. "We dated for like 1 year, but broke up because she went to America for a few years for business school at Harvard...then when she came back Juan Luis was introduced & they dated on & off for 2 years," I explain & look up at the ceiling.
"By the time she came back I was here...we never actually talked face-to-face until the end of last season...all of my feelings for her came back & I was head over heels all over again," I mutter, tracing the tattoo I have of her name–Aina–which she doesn't know about & I plan to keep that way.
"You fell that quick–Mr. 'I waited 3 months to confess'," I hear Aina mock me, I smile & cover my face, "Yes Aina, because I knew you would do the whole entire 'why did you make me wait 3 months when you could've had me from the start'. You can't even argue because me, Leo, & Gerard all know that you'd be lying."
